Control Denied To Complete 2nd in Honor of Chuck Shuldiner
Despite the tragic passing of Chuck Schuldiner, the remaining members (bassist Steve DiGiorgio, vocalist Tim Aymar, guitarist Shannon Hamm, and drummer Richard Christy) of Control Denied will work on the completion of the band's second album, When Machine and Man Collide.
"We were in the middle of doing the next record, and it's sad beyond belief that he never saw it to it's completion," said DiGiorgio on his website. "We will try our best to finish it in his honor, but will never know if it lives up to his standards. That's the least we can do for someone who gave so much and cared so much about what he did and how it effected those who belived as well."
When Machine and Man Collide is reportedly completely written and the drums and most of the guitar parts are recorded. Guitarist Shannon Hamm is currently putting the finishing touches on his segment of the album while DiGiogio and vocalist Aymar are waiting to record their sections.
Control Denied's When Machine and Man Collide, will be released on Holland's Hammerheart Records in late 2002.
