Former OTEP guitarist Rob Patterson, who was fired from the group in December 2003, will be acting as fill-in axeman for KORN when they hit the road later this year. Patterson, who has also acted as touring guitarist for VANILLA ICE in years past, will be filling in for the recently departed Brian "Head" Welch, who officially left KORN earlier this year to pursue the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.

hmm.... Former Otep guitarist touring with Korn sounds about right.

He Fits the look fits the bands playing style. Good for him. I hear Korn (Fieldy aside) are pretty easy going versus the semi-maniacal Otep Shamaiya. Maybe if Korn take to him they'll recruit him full time and get some original riffery, that last record, aside from 3 songs was their worst.

sure word up wasnt "korns style"...its a song they did for fun, i record songs all the time and i get bored of writing too. i just redo a song that i like until i feel like writing. its just the stage they were in and wanted to have some fun dont worry about it.. after all they did make it better just look at it like that
