Gorefest To Enter The Studio

Reunited Dutch metallers Gorefest have posted the following update on their official web site:
Next month, July 2005 and part of August, we will camp down at the Excess studio in Rotterdam with engineer Hans Pieters to record our fifth studio album. We have about 15 songs to record, of which we will pick about 10 to put on the album. Mixing will be done by Danish knob-toggler Tue Madsen at his home studio in Denmark in August. Tue is known for his work with The Haunted, Aborted, Disbelief, Born from Pain and many others. At the moment we are finishing up on the songs and breaking our heads over how to play them. As of yet we have no title to give you, we'll get back to you on that one. During our stay in Rotterdam, a studio report will be posted on this site on a regular basis. We will let you in on the progress being made and give you an insight in typical recording processes like: girlfriend interference, ego struggle, black eyes, break up, re-reunion, the breaking of strings, drumheads, studio interior, and so on. We've also been added to the Fields of Rock line-up, which is promising to be a great festival!
