Canadian band Kittie have denied rumours of an imminent split. They are still looking for a bassist and guitarist - and are also without a current record deal - but have plans for a new album.

She was just a touring guitarist. Kittie have never really moved me one way or another. My philosophy is "at least they tried" being that young and female on an apathetic label in this genre would be tough.
