CKY's New Album, "An Answer Can Be Found," Expected This Summer
CKY will be releasing new material until the album title of "An Answer Can Be Found" on June 28th. The band currently has not announced any touring plans, but is expected to hit the road sometime this Summer.

CKY rule, they are one of the only innovative bands around at the moment, they are different and they make music they like and they will continue to not try and be something they are not. IDR and vol 1 were awsome but 'AN ANSWER CAN BE FOUND" will show this even more and this is going to the record of 2005 with ease.

CKY is freakin awesome, I can't wait until the new cd comes out. I got IDR for christmas, and that's the only thing I listen to besides H.I.M. I really like that song Inhuman Creation Station, I just like the beat and the background noises, it's great. The Butcher's Hand was changed to An Answer Can Be Found in the later process.

been hearing alot about this band cky recently, with his comment to dave mustain and all of you praising them and all, so i thought let me download a song from these guys. i did and they suck ! i don't know what you guys like about them but judging from that song they don't sound any different then all the other alternative bands! they are not even metal !!!! it was stupid!!! but that's just me. could someone explain to me why they "rock" so much i just don't see it? how dare that fa**ot talk sh** about mustain when mustain is a legend compared to these p***y a$$ dorks ! ! !

First off, basing an opinion on one song is bent.
secondly, what song WAS it? They have a 'piss-take' album (for lack of a better word) called Volume 2, with various prank calls and comedic songs feature some of the CKY crew. If it was one of those songs, download something else. If not, there's no hope for you.

it was called "close yet far" and it was so gay. i could tell from that song that i wouldn't like them but i still downloaded a few other songs like "escape from hellview" and "into flesh gear" and i still think it's boring! most of the songs sound the same! this site is called metal underground !!!! they ain't underground and they certainly aren't metal !!! i mean i like other forms of music but this band should have no place in this site.

Nearly broke a finger trying to play "96 quite bitter beings" on bass when that first came out. Fun stuff, those guys are all over the neck on some of their songs. "Flesh into Gear" was alot easier to play. But I only know em from the singles and about 5 album tracks my friend had on cdr.

I'm 15, I like Bam, I don't see why everyone hates him, but that's their opinion. I think he's Funny. Whatever, don't want to get into a fight. CKY is great, and I wish I could play guitarso I could learn to play some of their songs. I like Close Yet Far, Attached at the Hip is great too. I'm lookign to buy there other two cd's. Volumes 1 and 2.

CKY is probably one of the best bands around at this time in the underground rock movement bam may promote them on his show but he also promotes alot of other bands as do 90 % of tv shows shown. so just because someone you dont like promotes something or they also promote somthing you dont like that doesnt neccesarily mean that the band sucks

Im not usualy one to post on boards like this because i feel they encourage unneccesary hostility due to being so impersonal, (mentioning no names, but you know who you are) however, i am making an exception because of the subject at hand; CKY.
I LOVE this band. I know of no other band who are so devoted to their fans, and having met them all I can say that they're some of the most down to earth and sound blokes that i have ever had the pleasure of speaking to. Their philosophy on music is inspired, especialy their problems with the music industry as a whole. I've been to see them twice now (third time coming up this summer) i own volumes 1 & 2, and I.D.R, plus the film trilogy and Haggard.
As for Bam Margera, my view is that he is just anothe unfortunate victim of the cash-driven consumer-based whorehouse that we call Television. you can complain about him all you want, but he has now become so inextricably entangled with the band that when i say "CKY" most unenlightened people i know say "oh yeah, that Bam Margera's band isn't it?" there is nothing we in the Alliance can do about this other than spread the word of truth and scrape the sticky gunk of ignorance from the eyes of the masses.
That my good people, is the end of my post, except to plead with you, give the Homophobia a rest, will you? it doesn't make you look hard or cool, it just shows up a bigotted, closed-minded view of the world that is just as sickening as Racisim or Genocide.

The truth is: CKY is a pretty good band. There are a lot of people out there that don't know and there are a lot of people out there that are homosexually obsessed with them and call them the "best band ever". I like a few songs, but they are certainly not the best band ever. Also, Jackass was a kick@$$ show, but Bam Margera was the biggest SAUSAGE SMOKER ever. I don't care what he does to kids, his sexual inclination, or the fact that he's rich.
I Hate Bam Margera because he doesn't have the balls to do risky stunts like Johny Knocksville, Raab Himself, Steve-O (definately) or even Ryan Dunn (who was just in Jackass to promote his band but did hurtful stunts anyway). If Bam wasn't such a little p***y and got hurt some of the times then he would be cool in my book, but he isn't.

this is just my opinon but i came across this site checking out stuff about the new cky album which i'm sure is going to be ground breaking but that's not the point. the point is is that people on here that have nothing better to do then start trouble with other people about stupid subjects and about people like bam or anyone else that you don't even know is a very sad waste of time. is bam funny or not, who cares if he's funny or not does fighting about stupid things like this change anything or make you feel better about yourself or something. i hope i didn't offend anyone but all i'm saying is grow up, i'm sure there's much better things people could be doing besides fighting and getting offended from fighting about people who you don't even know. i just don't understand why people would waste their time fighting about things like this or anything for that matter. by the way this will be my only post so say what you want your not going to get me to waste my time. anyway peace
