Hatebreed arent racist you just have to think the name through......
Their name implies that they were born from hatred...thus an angry group of fellows....not race-hate, just p***ed off.....
Jamey Jasta would be the first to say their music isnt so much about hate as it is enduring the concept of hate and defeating it...after "The Rise of Brutality" he might use the words crush or trample rather than defeat.
I've seen these guys live twice, they put every ounce of their being into their show....its chaos.....a true classact in hardcore...my only gripe is sometimes the lyrics are kinda "meh" but for the most part their good and full of conviction.
