Black Table Posts New Song "Gargantua"

Black Table's new song "Gargantua," taken off upcoming album "Obelisk," is now available for streaming below.

The album features twisting, turning, sludgy post-rock sliding into a blackened hellscape, led by the vocals of frontwoman Mers Sumida and double-bass drumming of Michael Kadnar (also a member of the reformed The Number Twelve Looks Like You and German act Downfall of Gaia).

"Obelisk" was produced by Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Sleep, Leviathan) and mastered by Colin Marston (Gorguts, Krallice). The album comes out October 14th on Silent Pendulum Records in the US, and Moment of Collapse Records in Europe.

Sumida says the album deals with "depression as a human condition, explored through the mythologies of various cultures, like Aztec, Mohawk Indian and European literature."
