Judas Priest lead singer Rob Halford recently talked to Swedish newspaper "Expressen" about Black Metal heroes Dimmu Borgir, with whom he shared the stage during last year's Ozzfest.

The Metal legend commented:

They’re very good musicians, talented songwriters and performing well on stage – a great addition to the heavy metal-family. I was overwhelmed, they master a genre, which is very difficult to get right. Rob Halford confirms that a mutual respect was found between Judas Priest and Dimmu Borgir.

I agree with Rob Halford, even though I'm not a huge fan of Black Metal, I can also say that Dimmu Borgir are exalent musicians all the way, even though they where all that make up sh**. Way too fast for my style so more power to them. And f*** YOU tayler! and any one else that disses Dimmu.

I've seen dimmu twice. At night concerts. The only other black metal bands that can get close to mathcing them are cradle of filth and children of the bodom. Plus all 3 bands are know for causing extreme damage to the stadiums that they headline.

And, if you think Dimmu is just constant blast beats, you haven't even scratched the surface of what this band is. I'm kind of afraid of the new album though. Nick added so much to Dimmu, i wonder what hellhammer can do. I'm embarrassed to say, I haven't heard any of the stuff he's done before. Anyone have any suggestions?
