Scorpions Lengthen Record Contract, DVD On The Way

German hard rockers Scorpions have lengthened their recording contract with Sony/BMG (German branch) and are reportedly finishing off a "best of" DVD, tentatively scheduled to be released in late spring/early summer. Additionally, the Scorpions are supposedly planning on putting out a new album release in the fall, although it is not yet known if the new CD will consist of brand new recordings or not.
Look for the Scorpions on tour in the U.K. with Judas Priest beginning on March 16 at London's Hammersmith Apollo.
