Damnation Plan Issues New Album Recording Update

Last month Damnation Plan announced plans to record the follow-up to "The Wakening," and now the group has issued the following studio update:

"So, previous week we got the drums recorded for the new album! A very busy and intense week as was pretty much expected. Once again we made sure we got all the needed recorded, including a couple of extras and alternative takes (just in case for possible final arrangements / adjustments). Eventually we had a bit over 3 days to record 12 songs, the rest 2 days was spent for micing / searching sounds / battling with technical issues / editing etc.

"Plan was to document as much of the action also on video, which we did with our best ability alongside the main point - getting everything needed on tape, which pretty much takes all the focus.

"An extra day wouldn't have hurt again for that! Still haven't had time to go through all the footage properly enough to figure out how to exactly put it out for you, but in meantime here's a couple of improvised random fills and beats from a studio day warmup/soundcheck for your enjoyment! More coverage to follow! Next week we'll begin tracking the guitars!"
