Primordial Set For Follow-Up
Ireland's premier pagan metal outfit Primordial are reportedly readying themselves to record the follow-up to 2000's excellent Spirit the Earth Aflame album.
Here is the rest:
The working title for Primordial's fourth studio album is What Sleeps Within and so far is described as "more complex with more depth but retaining a heavier edge as well," according to vocalist A. Nemtheanga.
What Sleeps Within is scheduled to be recorded sometime in January 2002 at Academy Studios in Yorkshire, England with famed doom metal producer Mags. What Sleeps Within will be the first album for Primordial with new guitarist The Bard Flynn, who will fillout the rhythm and lead second with guitarist C. MacUilliam.
In similar news, a 20-year-old Dutch girl was killed in a car crash. At the girl's funeral, "The Soul Must Sleep" off Spirit the Earth Aflame was played in remembrance of her involvement in the local metal community.
What Sleeps Within is due out sometime in late 2002 on Hammerheart Records.
