Shining Announces New Album "International Blackjazz Society"
Norwegian Blackjazz band Shining has disclosed that "International Blackjazz Society" will be the title of an upcoming full-length album, due out on October 16. "International Blackjazz Society" is the band's first release through Spinefarm Records.
Just as Venom created "Black Metal" in the early '80s, so Shining can proudly put its name to "Blackjazz." That's the title of the group's 2010 album, which was a Top 10 record in Norway.
"One One One" followed "Blackjazz" in 2013 and now it's time for studio album number seven; as with its predecessors, "International Blackjazz Society" was mixed by Sean Beavan (Depeche Mode, A Perfect Circle, Slayer) and mastered in Los Angeles by Tom Baker (Nine Inch Nails, Deftones, Beastie Boys).
