Countless Skies Heads To Bloodstock, Working On New Single/Album
The Nordic-loving melodeath upstarts from Countless Skies have a boatload of news to share. First, the band is delighted to announce winning the final of the Metal To The Masses competition, and is now packing up gear to head to the prestigious Bloodstock Festival in August!
Countless Skies also has news on new material. Vocalist/guitarist Ross King reveals: “We will shortly be entering the studio to record a single entitled 'Solace,' to be released prior to our slot at Bloodstock this year, along with a brand new t-shirt design. This will be available exclusively from our Bandcamp page, and will be at a 'Pay what you like' basis."
Artwork for both the single and t-shirt will be provided once again by the talented Carl Ellis, who created the stunning visual of the band’s debut self-titled EP.
As if that weren’t enough, the band also has a new full-length album in the works! Ross continues, “It will be recorded in HVR Studios in Ipswich, run by Dan Biggin (Pentagram Chile, Criminal, Anihilated). We have 8 tracks lined up, following a similar sound from our EP but stepped up to the next level. Release date is looking to be early 2016, so keep an eye out!”
