Haste The Day Posts New Track "World" Online

Haste The Day has leaked a new track this morning entitled “World.” This is the first new Haste The Day material to surface in five years - listen in below. “World” is also the first taste of the band’s forthcoming album "Coward," due to be released via Solid State Records on May 19th.

Speaking on the song, Stephen Keech says “Lyrically this song is about the beauty that comes with loving a world that doesn't always deserve love. It is a challenge to myself to put the needs of others before my own.”

Haste The Day existed for ten years before being put to rest in 2011. Initially reuniting for one anniversary show in the band's hometown of Indianapolis, Haste The Day's musical chemistry was re-ignited. Deciding to crowd fund album costs via Indiegogo and self-record, over $140,000 was raised within a month.

"Coward" features contributions from all Haste The Day members including vocal duties split by Jimmy Ryan (2002-2005) and Keech. See the band live on these dates:

5/22 New York, NY @ Irving Plaza (w/ The Ember Days)
5/29 Denver, CO @ Marquis Theater
5/30 Pomona, CA @ The Glasshouse
6/6 Indianapolis, IN @ The Egyptian Room At Old National Centre
