Chicago progressive post-metal doom bringers Taken By The Sun - who feature within their ranks members of architectural experimental metal technicians, Scientist - will unleash a self-titled full-length debut later this month.

In anticipation of its forthcoming release, today The Sludgelord offers up monolithic closing track "Ornaflux" for public ingestion. Give it a listen below.

"Taken By The Sun" was captured almost exclusively live at Steve Albini's Electrical Audio Studio, engineered by Sanford Parker (Twilight, Voivod, Eyehategod, Yob etc.) and mastered by Collin Jordan (Eyehategod, Indian, Wovenhand, Voivod etc.) at The Boiler Room in Chicago. The album will drop February 24th, 2015.
