im going with duality or vermilion by slipknot...this is because they are the only film clips i have seen from any heavy metal bands...i feel deprived as a metal head, im not getting any of the new metal..just slipknot and then back to pantera and metallica..they rock but i feel outdated even though im 15. its lame no head bangers ball in australia and dodgey mtv doesn't put it on..just fukn hip hop and party mix countdowns. whats a good heavy album that a metallica/slipknot fan would like from 2004 or so???

A surprisingly good list (in spite of the age of some of the videos). But yes, much like Creeping-Death being an Australian metal head means we don't count in the scheme of things to MTV. So yeah, I've seen hardly any of these videos, the few I have seen I've either downloaded because I already liked the band or caught it on Australia's free-to-air music program, Rage, at around 3am on a Saturday morning (the ONLY time metal gets played on Australian TV, and it's NOT consistent).
From the few I have seen though, I can't choose between Dimmu Borgir and Machine Head, VERY cool clips.
Albums for a Metallica/Slipknot fan? sh**, I dunno, maybe Dimmu Borgir's Death Cult Armageddon, Machine Head's Through The Ashes Of Empires, Arch Enemy's Anthems Of Rebellion (or moreso 2002's Wages Of Sin) or Children Of Bodom's Hate Crew Deathroll...
And sorry jon, but Killswitch Engayge are just bollocks.

Children of Bodom, Dimmu Borgir, Machine head and Rammstein are who id like to see win it but more than likely it will be killswitch engage, dont really f***ing see why cause i think they suck but they got a large fanbase in 2004 so they proberly will win or slipknot or someone but hey you never no.
