Pineal Releasing "Smiling Cult" EP
Pineal is a three piece post-metal band hailing from London, England which makes its Horror Pain Gore Death Productions debut with the "Smiling Cult" EP on December 16th. The label comments:
"Full of monolithic, apocalyptic and haunting riffs, the band draws influence from stoner, grunge, doom, and progressive genres. Sinister, abrasive atmosphere is present, along with dark, dangerous vocals that channel the late Layne Staley. Odd time signatures are complimented by harmonized vocals, and the bleak atmosphere meshes with depressive ambience.
"Recorded by Wayne Adams at Bear Bites Horse Studios and features sombre artwork by Anwot.
