Dekadent Announces "Veritas" Album

Slovenia’s atmospheric black metal quartet Dekadent will release new album, “Veritas,” in early 2015 via the group's own label FS Records.

This fourth opus continues the musical path of the 2011 album “Venera: Trial & Tribulation” and will be available on CD and digital formats. In keeping with the band’s creative audio-visual approach, it will also include a professionally produced short film of the same title written and directed by Artur Felicijan, Dekadent founder and mastermind.

The front man comments: "The songs are technically more challenging than anything we have done so far, while they still embody that typical Dekadent atmosphere. There a some new hints of progressive and death metal, but overall I believe we are offering a very glorious ‘white metal’ album we have always been known to deliver."

"Veritas" was recorded with an emerging artist and producer Wulf (Neurotech). The film was created and produced by Artur Felicijan and Andraž Sedmak and is already garnering success at independent film festivals. The album's track listing is as follows:
