Karkaos Recruits New Vocalist Viky Boyer

After parting ways with former vocalist Veronica O. Rodriquez and with two releases under the band's belt, Montreal's Karkaos is proud to announce a return to the scene with new vocalist Viky Boyer. The band comments:

"Today we welcome Viky Boyer to the Karkaos family. Her passion and dedication inspired us and her voice opened gateways to bigger and better things to come. We are honored to henceforth share the stage with this talented musician, exceptional singer and all-around amazing person.

"More importantly we are excited to unleash this beast of a front woman and show you all what a new Karkaos is all about! Be sure to come out on November 28th in Montreal at Petit Cafe Campus to give a warm welcome to Viky, enjoy a killer show and share a few drinks to celebrate this new and exciting chapter in the Karkaos history."

New vocalist Viky Boyer also had this to say: "It’s an honor for me to play with such talented musicians. I've known Karkaos for awhile now; I’ve always appreciated their music, so I knew I had to give it a shot when I got the opportunity! Lots of stuff to come. We already started to write new material, and I feel like I’m right where I belong."

The band has also posted a teaser for the upcoming re-recorded track "Leap of Faith" off the band's latest album "Empire." The full track will be released on Monday, October 20th.
