220 Volt To Release New Album In September

Swedish hard rock act 220 Volt will release its sixth studio release, and first full length release in 17 years, this September. The band reported the latest progress on the release via Facebook:

"Will deliver final master in a day or two, just waiting to approve the last version. We have 13 new tracks on there, and album starts with the epic title track and ends with a track that has sort of a connection to the title track..in a way.. All mixes and album cover finished, and ready to go!

"We have stretched out a bit and many songs are a little longer than usual, 3 tracks being well over 5 minutes. The thing will be released late september and we can't wait to let you hear this!

"We'd like to share more info, and we will as soon as record companies involved give us the go ahead. Excited!"

Details on the release have yet to be revealed, but the album will mark the first for vocalist Anders Engberg (Sorcerer/ex-Lion's Share/ex-Therion), who joined the band in 2013.
