Des Moines-based outfit Dead Horse Trauma will drop new album "Kill The Precedence" on June 27th, 2014 via 660 Records.

This album - the follow-up to last year's "Vi Ops" release - was recorded at 660 Studios in Des Moines, Iowa with producer Donnie Mengwasser (Butcher Babies, Otep) at the helm.

To support the album, the band will be embarking on a coast-to-coast tour beginning July 10th with Straight Line Stitch. Dates are available at this location. Dead Horse Trauma also comments on the new album:

“We’ve worked harder than ever to make this our best release to date; all killer and no filler. Ten songs that are going to grab you and move you, whether it be emotionally or physically. This release has bigger riffs, bigger vocals, and an overall highly-polished and original sound.”

I had the privilege of listening to a few of the songs pre-release and was moved to tears. So proud of what they have done. My CD is at home waiting for me. 6 hours of hard driving before I can listen to the finished product. Can't wait!!
