Wulfhook Issues Lineup And New EP Update

Detroit heavy metal band Wulfhook has checked in with the following update about lineup changes and working on new material:

"It's been entirely to long since we've updated everyone on whats going on with Wulfhook. There's a lot to share so I'm gonna be pretty matter of fact about everything. We are going through a line up change, and currently looking for a new bassist and 2nd guitarist.

"Barry hadn't been satisfied playing bass which is understandable as his passion is guitar and he's a great player, which led to him bowing out respectfully. Duke while a very talented guitarist and performer put us in an uncomfortable position, and left us having to make the hard decision to continue without him. While this news is unfortunate, These guys will always be our brothers in arms and we wish them nothing but the best. For the time being we have friends who are gonna help us out filling in for live shows.

"The original plan was to release a proper full-length in 2013. We had everything in the works from the studio, producer, album art, talked with labels, started working on pre-production demos of newer songs. Things were on the up and up, but for one reason or the other it kept getting pushed back more and more. Something like the old adage 2 steps forward 3 steps back. So 2013 had not turned out to be quite the year we planned for the band to say the least, and 2014 has had an even rockier start. Albeit we had some phenomenal shows, with unbelievable turn outs playing with our brothers in Battlecross and Manic Outburst we still had no forward movement on our full length. With all that being said this past Monday marked 2 years since we released the 'Sacrifice' demo.

"We have produced something close to 2,000 physical copies all DIY and we are eternally grateful for the support everyone has shown us from this release. We know it is time for something new. In the months that we haven't been active live or online, we have been making a game plan for moving forward with the band. One of the first things we talked about was we need to put out new music.

"So we started work on 5 song EP which will be finished soon. As of right now we are planning for September release but we will have a lot more news about that in the coming weeks. Also we have recently confirmed 2 very very awesome shows, They are the only shows we are gonna be playing until we release the EP so be sure to mark your calenders. Saturday August 30th at Rocky's Pub with Morbid Saint, Vektor, Condition Critical , Humungus, Lockgnar, Manic Outburst and more and Friday September 5th at Token Lounge which we will share more info about soon.

"We've got all kinds of really cool things going on in the coming months and we want you guys to be apart of it! Thanks for all of your support!"
