The Binary Code Parts Ways With Drummer Umar Fahim

U.S. band The Binary Code has checked in with the following statement about parting ways with the band's drummer:
"We recently parted ways with Umar Fahim, our drummer of 7 years. Let me first say that in the 10 years we've been a band, no one has been more dedicated to the band than Umar. He's been the one guy who was ready to drop everything at any moment for anything that ever surfaced for us.
"In fact, on tour with Revocation in 2010, we were 2 days into a 33 date tour and we had a van-totaling accident that would generally stop a band from touring, and HE made the tour go on by working from the hour we got to the tiny hotel in Mansfield, PA to the early morning the next day as we sat in a 2 bed hotel room the size of a bathroom with all of our gear and luggage packed inside.
"We were all ready to give up. But Umar pushed through and made one of the best experiences of my life happen. And for that, I am eternally grateful. That being said, sometimes things have to change in order for a band to run on all cylinders, and that change had to be made this year. Umar and I met up, and had a great conversation about his future, and making music together at some point for a different venture, so everything is 100% amicable.
"So, without further adieu, we'd like to announce our new drummer, Sean Vizcaino, to the band. We spent quite a while trying to figure out how we were going to fill Umar's shoes, because they are BIG shoes. And Sean has been so unbelievably dedicated to being a part of this band that it was obvious after a first rehearsal that it was going to work.
"We played our first show with him having only 3 weeks to learn our new material, and he delivered and THEN SOME. We'll have some drum-playthrough material for you guys within a month or so, so keep posted! This is the Binary Code version 5.359.0."
