Andy Sneap And Kev Bower Raising Money For Charity
Guitarists Andy Sneap and Kev Bower from British metal pioneers Hell are currently raising money for three U.K. charities: Nordoff Robbins, the Teenage Cancer Trust, and Childline.
The guys are cycling 259 km from London to the Download Festival in the U.K. participating in the Heavy Metal Truants annual heavy metal charity bicycle ride. One of the main initiators of this fundraising project was Rod Smallwood (Iron Maiden's manager) who will also be taking part in the ride. More info can be found at this location.
To raise even more money, starting tomorrow at 19.00CET/18.00UK, Hell will be selling several unique pieces from the band's history, including what might be the world's last three mint unplayed copies of the original 1983 "Save Us" 7" vinyl. The band has also produced a limited edition T-shirt, and will be selling many other items in the sale starting at GBP £1.00.
You can hit the special sale merch site by visiting the band's Facebook profile from 19.00CET/18.00UK tomorrow. For all information and also direct donations, please visit the fundraising page of guitarists Andy Sneap and Kev Bower here.
Hell's current album "Curse & Chapter" was released on November 22nd, 2013 via Nuclear Blast.
