Blaze Bayley Has Customized Bike Stolen

Blaze Bayley's official website has posted the following message online:

"As you may or may not know, Blaze is a member of his very own Black Bike Club as he rides his customised Virago 1100, which is....of course...black. Among the other members is myself who rides a Moto Guzzi California 1100, which is, of course, white. While this may actually stretch the apparent membership criteria of a 'Black Bike Club' I prefer to think of myself as the Lone Ranger atop his trusty steed 'Silver', as opposed to Blaze's Tonto.

"Anyway.....that's not my point. Blaze's bike was stolen from outside his house on Monday night. This is (and you riders out there will understand) one of the scummiest, lowest, dirtiest things that could happen. Fortunately, the bike has been recovered by the Police and is soon to be back home where the beast belongs.

"However, we would still very much like to know who did it, as we would like to discuss the event with the perpetrator(s). If anybody hears anything about this matter.....could you please let us know?"

Blaze has had a really bad year, He only has had his life back on track and suffers a great tragedy
I hope that the sod who stole his bike gets his throat cut, Blaze Doesn't deserve this kind of treatment. people slagged him off for joining Iron maiden in the past, but i loved his voice,. Blaze is the nicest guy I have ever met. I've met Blaze so many times, (but not in the last 5 years). I was actually quite annyoed when maiden got bruce d***inson back, Blaze even reconised me at the heavy metal festival Bloodstock 2003. I was chuffed to bits, and my brother and friends were jealous as hell.

Get used to it. For some reason you can still say wank, bastard, arse and crap so be happy with it.

On topic though, I didn't like the Maiden albums with Blaze but that was no fault of his since he's got a great voice, I think at that point the musicianship in Maiden had got kinda lazy which was shows on albums before Bruce left such as No Prayer For The Dying

rob -- It's a filter. Get used to it.

Oz -- I agree with you. Maiden peaked (in my opinion) with their first 5 albums. After "Powerslave" I think they just kind of got lazy and figured people would buy everything they put out just because it's Iron Maiden. Sadly, I am guilty of that. Lol.

Yeah it was pretty good... but by the time that came out, I had a decent "cassette" recorder and just recorded copies that my friends bought.... When I converted my music collection to CDs back in the late 90s, I never replaced anything other than my favorites.... and that was the ones up through Piece of Mind... I have since downloaded a bunch of other Maiden stuff... including Powerslave... So it is part of my collection now... LOL

Yeah, Im slowly getting used to the idea of modern technology.... I just got an MP3 player awhile back, had to have one that would hold everything in my collection...!!
I ended up with one that has 20Gigs( actually only 18.5 usable space...) I was able to put over 3000 songs on it still only used about half the space... lol

I don't have an mp3 player because I wouldn't use it often. I'd really only use it in the spring and summer when I go jogging. Doesn't seem worth it to spend all that money on an mp3 player for so little use.

I have an FM transmitter for my MP3 player, to run it through the vehicles(semi) stereo system, and I also have a RCA cable to hook it up to either my home stereo or PA system..!!
That way, I have my entire collection of almost 500 cds at my disposal... Its helped out immensely on the road.... Satellite radio is cool, but like normal radio stations... the same songs get played repeatedly...!!

I bought an MP3 player last september and it packed in june/july and i can't afford another one, not even a cheap one. And I much prefer CDs. I love everything about them. Part of the reason I get excited for new albums is imagining what the artwork will look like.

As far as Maiden goes, there's a couple of great tracks on every Maiden album, no exceptions, but for me, I started to lose interest in the albums as a whole around Powerslave. It's a good album but I don't find it amazing (he says with a Powerslave textile poster on his wall!)

What really sucks for me is that I have so many CDs and I live in such a small apartment that I don't have anywhere to put the CD cases, so I pretty much have to keep the CDs, give the artwork a good once-over and then throw the cases away... I just don't have enough space. :( It sucks too, because some of the artwork is just incredible.. Point in case, the 2 Kreator CDs I got yesterday ("Pleasure to Kill" and "Coma of Souls") have really cool artwork and photos of the band, but I couldn't do much but look at them and then toss 'em.

A couple very good points there Oz my man..!!

Thats the reason I chose to spend the extra $ on an MP3 player with enough space that I knew I wasnt gonna be able to fill it.... right away that is...LOL
I prefer CDs also.... but its kinda tough digging in cases etc... while keeping my rig between the ditches.... hahahaha
When Im in my car... I only listen to CDs..!!

Or, the old.... " sorry man, I dont know what happened to that disc"
Those rotten bastards know exactly what happened to em... they just didnt have the balls to say...
" I lost it" or "I gave it to that chick that I screwed the other night, and I havent seen her or it since"...
Whatever the case... I dont let anyone borrow anything anymore... If anything, I tell them I will burn them copies if they supply the blanks..!!
