Lamb of God Announce Headlining Tour Dates With Machine Head In 2007

Returning to the U.S. after a sold-out tour of Europe, Australia and Japan, Lamb of God is excited to announce a headlining American tour in 2007 with Bay Area Metal Titans Machine Head, modern day metal traditionalists Trivium and France's heaviest metal export Gojira. Having spent the summer of 2006 on the Unholy Alliance Tour with metal pioneer's Slayer and joining Megadeth for the Gigantour tour in September, LOG will kick-off this tour in Dallas on February 16 as they bring their pummeling live show across the U.S. and Canada.
Band drummer Chris Adler states, "When you are a kid, you dream of playing your music in an arena. Once you've done it, you realize how much you miss the power and energy of a kick ass club show. We've been fortunate to be playing some big places as of late, but when we started talking about a spring 2007 Sacrament tour, we agreed (and had heard it repeatedly over the past 2 years from the fans!!!) that it would be incredibly intense for everyone to bring the machine that is LAMB OF GOD back into the clubs.. There is no comparing the connection and shared energy of a club show. The blood, sweat, and beer flying - that's a proper metal show! This is intense music for intense people - we're sick of the seats, the ushers and the lame security guards telling people to calm down!"
"We probably should have left it at that, but in true LAMB OF GOD form we pushed it further. With a little help from our friends, we put an arena show bill together and told our booking agent to put it into the clubs and theaters - and oh yeah, not just any clubs - lets make sure to hit a lot of cities that normally get overlooked. Let's bring the best show we can to the people that have been left waiting for far too long. This is going to be completely out of hand and we can't fucking wait! You have been warned!!!"

I can't believe how sh**ty Triviums mew album is, i dont know why they are on this tour, IF YOU MISS MATT'S OLD VOCALS CHECK OUT HIS OTHER BAND Capharnum, i think it is, they shred...but i love Lamb Of God live, i would go if Trivium wasn't playing but i dont want to sit through there set...

Seen MH a couple of times in the past... their recent stuff wasn't all that great, why else would they get dumped from the label... anyways, the new album promises to be 'exciting'... seen LOG a few times before, not a BIG fan like some headz, but they do put on a great live show... WALL OF DEATH, hell yeah... and 'trivium'.. heard the early stuff, it was ok.. heard the last album...BLOWS!!! the music dates them... in other words, kids... you can tell how young they are thru their music....I mite go

I love Machine Head and I was still surprised by HOW good they were when I saw them live last year. Despite the unpopular couple albums, they have enough great material (mostly from two incredible CDs) to put on a killer show and they performed flawlessly as well. I think they'll be making some new fans out of LOG and Trivium fans alike.

See this is bullsh**, this goes to almost every state and what the f*** does Chicago get? f***ing Taste of Chaos. WTF!?!? I've never heard Gojira before but I like the other three bands, except for Trivium's new CD (but I still like the guitar solos). But when I saw the tour poster for this a couple weeks ago I was excited until I saw that we didn't get a date on this tour. DAMN IT

Yeah, these guys FINALLY realize they've gathered enough of an audience to carry a tour on their own. I'm not the biggest fan of this band, as I've stated many times before, but I'm glad they're starting to get a little more confident about themselves.

Hey dude, I never liked Taste of Chaos. The only band that I EVER liked on that was Killswitch Engage. I never told people to stfu. Please dude, learn what you're talking about before you try to start sh**. I said that I didn't like the Taste of Chaos. I respect other people's opinions. I never complained that this was a metal website and that shouldn't be on here either. Other people did, but I didn't. It's just having rock/emo on the site. You can go f*** yourself because you don't know me a$$hole. I'm just p***ed this isn't coming to Chicago, and I was saying that good tours aren't coming to Chicago and all we're getting is the sh**ty TOC! a$$hole

Alex.... , they don't do the wall of death anymore, it's been banned...I think. But there'll still be a ton of mosh pits, which is still a little insane in a small club. I just saw In Flames at the Kool Haus in Toronto last week, and that's nothing compared to a LoG pit!

dude f*** everyone who is thinking Lamb of God is a sh** band.... they are the only metal band in the world that deserve to even be touring. MAchine head is bad a$$ and Gis good to but trivium...saw them live and i wasnt that impressed. LOG TRUE AMERICAN METAL!! b****ES

I heard songs from Gojira, Machine Head and Lamb of God and I can say they're really good bands, but really, I find that Trivium kick so much a**. I don't understand why people hate them so much. They sure changed style from Ascendancy to The Crusade, but both are cool. I'll sure sure go to that show! f***in' great!!!!!!

It's cool Morris. sh** happens sometimes. That just really p***ed me off. And I only brought it up TOC saying that we don't get anything good and when a good tour does come up it doesn't go to Chicago, such as this one. At least the KsE/Chimaira tour is coming. And I hope you enjoy the show since I won't be able to lol

broken face i totally f***ing agree, LOG are sick, i hope they tour UK soon to support their new album, ive at least listened to one song from it every day since i got it and still seem to somewhow discover something new about the songs every day..trivium used to be good, now theyre just obsessed with image, sounding more like other bands etc ..fair play to corey though, sick guitarist after only a few years of playing from what i understand? spafeee
59. writes:
hey if someone doesnt like trvivium, you dont need to say they suck or you hate them, if you dont like a band then dont talk sh** about them cuz chances are they are better than you, plus there are a million bands out there that you can listen to, so find something you like and dont talk sh** about other bands, and this goes for any band not just trivium, plus anyone who sais "oh yeah i used to like trivium, but their new cd sucks" well they changed their sound , theyre musicians, they like to write new music, let them do what they want to do, and many people talk sh** about maidens new album, they say it doesnt sound like the old stuff, well they changed their sound a little also, they want to write new things, if you would like iron maiden to stay in the 1980's then your obviously not a musician who can understand why bands do the things they do, so stop talking sh**, and keep your comments to yourselves
