Profanity Streaming "Who Leaves Stays"
Profanity's new album “The Art Of Sickness” will be released on April 21st via Apostasy Records and today new track "Who Leaves Stays" comes online for advance listening.
This impending tech death opus was recorded at Iguana Studios (Spheron, Imperium Dekadenz, Necrophagist a.o.) with producer Christoph Brandes and features guests Terrance Hobbs (Suffocation), Adrie Kloosterwaard (Sinister), Ricky Myers (Disgorge, Suffocation), Christian Münzner (Alkaloid, ex-Obscura) as well as ex-bassist Martl Bauer.
The artwork was done by none other than Pär Olofsson and the track listing for "The Art Of Sickness" will be as follows:

Profanity Reveals "The Art Of Sickness"
On April 21st, 2017, Profanity is returning with a new full-length titled “The Art Of Sickness.” Apostasy Records comments:
"Its title reveals the route of the new material which is full of playfulness and technical brilliance while it strikes a balance between art and insane chaos. Recorded at Iguana Studios (Spheron, Imperium Dekadenz, Necrophagist a.o.) with producer Christoph Brandes the new songs will bring all tech death gourmets to the scene.
"To make the album even more diverse, the band invited guests like Terrance Hobbs (Suffocation), Adrie Kloosterwaard (Sinister), Ricky Myers (Disgorge, Suffocation), Christian Münzner (Alkaloid, ex-Obscura) as well as their ex-bassist Martl Bauer. The artwork was done by Pär Olofsson who already created images for albums by Exodus, Unleashed, Malevolent Creation, etc."

Profanity Signs With Apostasy
German group Profanity has inked a deal with Apostasy Records to release a new album next year. The label comments:
"Since 1993, the underground has been shaking under the sounds of Profanity. The German tech death three-piece set a heavy mark albums 'Shadows To Fall' (1997) and 'Slaughtering Thoughts' (2000) as well as a tour in support of Cryptopsy in 2002 and an appearance at the Maryland Death Fest 2004 alongside Misery Index and Exhumed.
"After some years of silence, the band is ready to be back with a vengeance. Currently they are working hard on the full-length follow-up to 'Hatred Hell Within' (2014) with producer Christoph Brandes in his Iguana Studios (Spheron, Imperium Dekadenz, Necrophagist o.a.) which will be released via Apostasy Records in 2017. Obscura Add Second Guitarist
German death metal band OBSCURA has announced the addition of second guitarist Johannes Rennig (PROFANITY). "It was a very hard decision to make," the group writes on its web site. "We are looking forward to the upcoming festivals and the recording mode of the new album in August this year."
OBSCURA's upcoming CD will be recorded with V. Santura (DARK FORTRESS) at The Crypt Studios in Germany. The cover art and layout will be created by German artist Timo Wuerz.
Released last year, OBSCURA's debut album, "Retribution", was produced by Alex Krull (ATROCITY, LEAVES' EYES) and includes guest appearances by V. Santura (DARK FORTRESS), Matthias Röderer (ATROCITY), Thorsten Bauer (ATROCITY) and Martl (PROFANITY).
