"The doomed time has come to reveal the title, the cover and the track listing of the upcoming Sorrows Path album! Our album will be titled 'Doom Philosophy' and is going to be released by German Rock It Up records in 2013. (Exact Release date: T.B.A. by the label very soon).
"The cover was done by talented young Austrian artist Lisa Heschl, and the logo artwork by the established Belgian artist Christophe Szpajdel (Moonspell, Arcturus, Dimmu Borgir, and many more).

Greek act Sorrows Path has checked in with the following announcement about recruiting a guest musician for the band's upcoming album:
"We are really honored to announce that American guitarist Edgar Rivera will be one of the guests for the new Sorrows Path album!
"His work with Solitude Aeternus' first five legendary albums inspired us in a profound way and we are pleased and excited to have him step in and perform the solo for the opening song titled 'Tragedy.'

Sorrows Path has posted a cover of Black Sabbath's "Killing Yourself To Live" online, which is featured on the "Sabbath Cadabra - A Greek Tribute to Black Sabbath" release. Give the song a listen below.
The compilation album is being released by Metal Hammer Greece, and features Greek bands covering tracks from Black Sabbath's entire career. The CD will be given away for free with Metal Hammer Greece issue #340, on sale Tuesday, April 2nd.
Commented Metal Hammer Greece: "Black Sabbath invented heavy metal. The least we could do in order to celebrate their legacy is to gather some of the best Greek bands and have them play Sabbath's ecstatic music. Enjoy and worship the riff lords."

After previously announcing guest appearances by drummer Lefteris Moros (Innerwish) and bassist Vangelis Yalamas (Fragile Vastness), Greek act Sorrows Path has now posted the following message online about bringing on Snowy Shaw to appear on the band's new album:
"We are really glad and proud to announce that Swedish multi-instrumentalist Snowy Shaw (king Diamond, Mercyful Fate, Memento Mori, Notre Dame, Dream Evil, Therion, Dimmu Borgir, and more) will be the special guest vocalist for the new Sorrows Path album!
"Our doom idol Snowy will sing a duet with our singer Angelos for a song titled 'Everything Can Change.' Doom rules eternally…"
Further details on the upcoming album release will be announced as they are made available.
After previously announced bassist Vangelis Yalamas from Fragile Vastness will be the guest bassist for an upcoming new album, Greek act Sorrows Path has now issued the following announcement about another guest contributor:
"We are really glad to announce that the drummer Lefteris Moros (Innerwish) will be the guest rhythm section along with our producer, bassist Vangelis Yalamas (Fragile Vastness, Goin' Through) for an instrumental song that will be the finale of the upcoming Sorrows Path album!
"The album is being recorded at Fragile studios since August 20 and two more international guests will be announced very soon... This will be out late 2012 by German ROCK IT UP/ICEWARRIOR records. Doom rules eternally..."

"Sorrows Path release live-party show for the new album 'The Rough Path of Nihilism,' out from German Rock it Up Records! The band is back from Germany where they had their party for the new release in Karlsruhe and celebrate their official release at historical An Club in Athens, on Sunday, December 5! Sorrows Path has issued the following announcement about revealing the cover artwork for the band's new album:
"Hail doomsters and friends! We are really proud to reveal the cover and the track listing of our newborn child 'The Rough Path of Nihilism' which is going to be released on October 29, 2010 by Rock It Up Records! The cover was done by artist Seth Siron Anton, the famous bassist and vocalist of Septic Flesh, who already worked with big names such as Paradise Lost, Kamelot, Moonspell, Exodus, and many more!"
