Relapse Records Offering Free Sampler Album

Relapse Records is currently offering a free, 26 track, digital label sampler online now exclusively via the label's Facebook page. The sampler includes previously unreleased tracks from Red Fang, Abysmal Dawn, Noisear, as well as songs from Obscura, Baroness, Black Tusk, Dying Fetus, Death and more. Circle of Animals Posts New Song Online

CIRCLE OF ANIMALS has posted a brand new MP3, “Poison The Lamb,” off their debut album "Destroy The Light" online courtesy of AlarmPress.com, and Crustcake.com. 'Destroy The Light" will see its North American release on Tuesday October 12th.

CIRCLE OF ANIMALS is Sanford Parker (MINSK, THE HIGH CONFESSIONS, BURIED AT SEA) and Bruce Lamont (YAKUZA) along with a rotating cast of established drummers. The track “Poison The Lamb,” for example, features Steve Shelly (SONIC YOUTH) behind the kit. Additional drummers featured on "Destroy The Light" include Noah Leger (TAKING PICTURES, THE KARL HENDRICKS TRIO), Darren Verni (UNEARTHLY TRANCE), John Herndon (TORTOISE), John Merryman (CEPHALIC CARNAGE, SECRET CHIEFS 3), Dave Witte (BURNT BY THE SUN, MUNICIPAL WASTE), and more.

Circle Of Animals Streaming New Song

Circle of Animals, the new Chicago industrial project from Sanford Parker (Minsl, The High Confessions, Buried At Sea) and Bruce Lamont (Yakuza), has posted the first preview track, "No Faith," from the band's forthcoming full-length "Destroy The Light." The song can be heard online now via this location.

Circle of Animals is Parker and Lamont backed by a rotating cast of established drummers. Each new song will be with a new drummer, with the rest of instrumentation remaining in the hands of Parker and Lamont. On the track "No Faith," Zach Simmons (Goatwhore, Nachtmystium) provides the backing drums.

Additional drummers to be featured on "Destroy The Light" include Steve Shelly (Sonic Youth), Noah Leger (Taking Pictures), Darren Verni (Unearthly Trance), John Herndon (Tortoise), John Merryman (Cephalic Carnage), and more.

Circle Of Animals Signs To Relapse

Relapse Records has issued the following announcement about inking a record deal with Chicago's Circle of Animals:

"Relapse Records is proud to announce the signing of Circle of Animals, the brand new Chicago industrial project from Sanford Parker (Minsk, The High Confessions, Buried At Sea) and Bruce Lamont (Yakuza). Circle of Animals is Parker and Lamont backed by a rotating cast of established drummers. Each new Circle of Animals song will be with a new drummer, with the rest of instrumentation remaining in the hands of Parker and Lamont. The band will first release a limited 12” E.P., Invisible War, followed by a full-length album.

"Invisible War will include two original tracks, 'Invisible War' featuring Jeff Morgan of RWAKE on drums and 'Lessen Human Suffering' featuring Dave Witte of Burnt By The Sun, Municipal Waste on drums. 'Invisible War' and 'Lesson Human Suffering' will be side A of the LP, with side B including a remix of 'Invisible War' by Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu) and a cover of SWANS’ 'Fool' with Jim Staffel of Yakuza on drums."
