Six Magics Reveals New Album Details

Chilean symphonic power metal band Six Magics resigned with Coroner Records for the the release of the band's fifth album "Falling Angels." The album is due for release on July 2, 2012.

According to the press release: "The female fronted quintet presents a new long and intense chapter of classic heavy metal mixed with epic, symphonic, power and progressive influences, for an over 60 minutes trip into Six Magics' world."

The cover artwork, seen below, was created by Machine Room Deisgn, which also did coverwork for My Dying Bride and Dawn of Ashes.

Six Magics Streaming New Single

Chilean metallers Six Magics have released the song "Another Name," which is the first single off their upcoming as-yet-unnamed album. You can listen to the song in the clip below.

Six Magics Announces Mini Tour

Six Magics has issued the following announcement about a European mini tour from October 29th to November 21st:

"Hi there! We are about to travel tomorrow and begin with our European Tour on Friday. Beside that we are proud to announce we will have a mini tour with our friends from the Netherlands 'TheName.' Check the dates we will play together! And we hope to see you there for some Female Fronted Power."

Six Magics Announces Festival Appearances

Chile based act Six Magics has issued the following update about upcoming festival appearances:

"Hey Everybody! Let me tell you that we have 3 Festival Appearances on our European Tour 2010 beside a few normal Gigs that we are still planing. We will start with 'True As Steel' in Switzerland on October 15.

"The Second Appearance will be on the III. Izmir Rock Fest in Turkey dated for October 16.-17! As the Band never has been there we hope to have a blasting show and we are expecting an awesome audience there and hope we will have a huge party. See you there. And finally to close our Tour we will Perform on Women in Rock in the Netherlands on November 24. We hope to see our friends from the Netherlands over there.

"So far... We hope to announce some more Club Shows soon, so we can meet there too! Keep Updated and Thanks a lot for Supporting us! Hopefully we will have a successful Tour. See you on the Road!"

Six Magics Announces New Guitarist

Chile's Six Magics has announced Pablo Ignacio Sepúlveda as their new guitar player replacing Gabriel Hidalgo.

The band comments about the new line up, "We are excited to announce that Pablo Ignacio Sepúlveda has officially joined Six Magics as new guitar player. Pablo has replaced Gabriel Hidalgo when he decided to quit the band to live and study in USA. Pablo was with us in our promotional tour in Germany last month and it wasn't hard to realize he is not just a great guitarist but a lovely person, too. Please give him a warm welcome!"

Coroner Records has licensed the album "Behind The Sorrow" to the Japanese label Howling Bull. The album will be released in Japan on the 28th of April 2010 and it will contain a live version of the song "Behind The Sorrow" as bonus track. More...

Chilean power metallers Six Magics have signed a deal with Coroner Records for the release of their new album entitled "Behind The Sorrow," [cover art] scheduled for release on February 15th 2010.
