Dawn Desiree Checks In With Update
Death of Desire vocalist Dawn Desiree has issued the following statement regarding the recent claims that she was kidnapped:
"I wanted to stay out of the back and forth internet bullshit because this whole ordeal has been difficult for me. However Perverse Productions does not want to let it go. Now I am compelled to tell my side of the story.
"Morbid and I were to meet up with George, from Perverse Productions, and a potential bass player for a couple of upcoming shows in Mexico. Thursday 8/5 at 9:45 we met up with them at a local bar. During the course of the night 4 other guy friends of George showed up to the bar. We found out later that most of them were members of Georges band Antebellum. I had 4 beers from 9:45 till 2 am when the bar closed. After that I only remember George taking my car keys and getting in my car while I asked everyone around to give me my bag that was in my car. No one answered me regarding my bag specifically. I heard someone say don’t worry everything will be fine. That is the last thing I remember.
"This leads me to believe that one of my drinks was drugged. We are all metal heads and you know 4 beers is not enough to make someone lose several hours. In speaking to Morbid he told me that he was trying to talk to me in the parking lot… trying to get me to get up and leave because all five dudes were trying to jump him. He told me I just sat there in a catatonic state, completely unresponsive to anyone around and staring into the distance. More...

"We didn't want to make this public. Perverse productions is a professional organization. We haven't been around that long, and now we unfortunately have started our list of shame, fakes, and worthless talent.
"This douche-bag from Monterrey, MEX. who goes by the name of Morbid or also known as Pablo Camilo made us believe he was from Germany. Wannabe Nazi-Mexican. ppffft. If he feels like a man and wants to threaten us he would have stepped up last Thursday night.
"Pablo, We don't beat our women here in the states. Your girlfriend simply felt safer with us and and willingly left with us. Ask her and all 5 witnesses. You can talk the talk, but can you walk the walk?"
Death Of Desire Claims Vocalist Was Kidnapped
Guitarist Morbid of Death of Desire has issued the following statement via the band's MySpace blog claiming that vocalist Dawn Desiree has been kidnapped:
"Hey, Morbid here. I am fucking devastated by this that has happened. We met with this promoter asshole at a bar today, Dawn Desiree and I went there, we were supposed to talk some business about live shows and shit like that. The scumbag went there with his so called band (name I don't care to say), at the end of the night they all turned against me and tried to fucking beat me up, some time after Dawn Desiree who was intoxicated with alcohol was taken away and her car was stolen by them.
"I was left by myself in the middle of nowhere and had to steal a fucking bike to make my way home a faster trip, it wasn't. It sucked. Fucking 5 hours of pedaling and walking like a maniac. This are the longest hours I've ever had to go through. Not only a good friend and band member is missing for me, but also a fucking soulmate. This people have destroyed me, I will take vengeance of this. Blood will run. I can only hope to see her again soon. More...

Death Of Desire Recruits New Keyboardist
Germany's Death of Desire has issued the following update about recruiting Arcane of Eyes of Noctum as the band's new keyboard player:
"Our songs have always been very raw and in your face, we used to create dark atmospheres with keyboards to compliment the music in the past, but now that Arcane has joined the band, the music has taken yet another direction and dimension. So far the keyboards we have on some songs knocks down many bands with symphonic works that we know and we are proud to say that Arcane is now the official Keyboardist and Synth master for the Death of Desire family.
"Our music is growing and evolving into a more mature state with this alliance. The music will still be very brutal and technical, but now the element of grimness and Darkness has a major call in our tracks. Expect some demo previews soon."
