Saratan Posts "Mastema" Music Video

Polish thrash act Saratan posted a new music video for the track "Mastema." The song appears on the band's latest LP "Martya Xwar," which was issued by Massacre Records last November. A previous video for "Ba'al Zevuv" from the release can be seen over at this location.

Saratan Releases New Album

Saratan has released the new "Martya Xwar" album today, and you can now listen to samples of all the tracks over at the band's Facebook profile here. The track listing is as follows:

Saratan Releases New Music Video

Saratan and Red Pig Productions present "Ba'al Zevuv," the new video clip from the upcoming "Martya Xwar" album, which drops on the 23rd of November, 2012 via Massacre Records. The following press release was also issued:

"Red Pig Productions is known for it's work with such bands as: Decapitated, Sceptic, Totem, Cemetery of Scream and Witchking. 'Martya Xwar' is about forty minutes of apocalyptic death – thrash metal, full of oriental and classical ornaments. Ethnic music, occultism and orchestrations are the main focus on this album. 'Martya Xwar' was recorded over the course of five months in five recording studios in Polnad and Germany – it was mixed and mastered by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress, Celtic Frost) at Woodshed Studio. Cover design and artwork are created by Michal 'Xaay' Loranc (Nile, Kamelot)." More...

Saratan Posts New Album Preview

Saratan has announced the band's new album "Martya Xwar" will consist of the following eight songs:

1. Taj-e Sahra (instrumental)
2. Mastema
3. Verminous Disease
4. Ba'al Zevuv
5. Silent Sound of Mourning
6. The Sacred Path of Martya Xwar
7. God That Disappears
8. Asmodea (instrumental)

A teaser trailer for the album can be heard below, and "Martya Xwar" is due for release on November 23rd, 2012 via Massacre Records. Saratan also announced that Tymek Jedrzejczyk, Maciej Kowalski, and Michal Strzelecki were recruited for guest male vocals, Karolina Sumowska - Hocyk for additional female vocals, Marina Novikova on piano, and both Jacek Gruszka and V. Saratan Streaming New Track

Poland's Saratan is set to drop new album "Martya Xwar" this coming November 23rd, 2012 via Massacre Records. A track from the release, titled "Mastema," has now been posted online for streaming and can be heard in the player available below.

The band also previously commented: "'Martya Xwar' is about forty minutes of apocalyptic death – thrash metal, full of oriental and classical ornaments. Saratan Signs With Massacre Records

Polish metallers Saratan have inked a new record deal with Massacre Records. The band's third album, entitled "Martya Xwar" will be released worldwide this coming November 23rd, 2012. Saratan also commented on the upcoming release:

"'Martya Xwar' is about forty minutes of apocalyptic death – thrash metal, full of oriental and classical ornaments. Ethnic music, occultism and orchestrations are the main focus on this album. 'Martya Xwar' was recorded over the course of five months in five recording studios in Polnad and Germany – it was mixed and mastered by V. Santura (Triptykon, Dark Fortress, Celtic Frost) at Woodshed Studio.

Saratan Shooting New Music Video

Poland's Saratan is set to release a third album later this fall, and the band has now checked in with the following update about shooting a new music video as well:

"Saratan together with Red Pig Productions has begun working on a new video for 'Ba'al Zevuv' from the upcoming album Martya Xwar.

"Video will be shot in mid June and should be released in autumn 2012, but a 'making of' photo documentary by Bandphoto.pl will be avialable earlier.

"Red Pig Productions is known for it's work with such bands as: Decapitated, Sceptic, Totem, Cemetery of Scream and Witchking. More info is available at this location."

Saratan To Release New Album

Poland's Saratan has issued the following announcement about gearing up to release a new album:

"The third album by Cracow based Saratan is ready and will be released in fall 2012. The album title is Martya Xwar (pronounce Martya Hwar /cannibal/). It's 40 minutes of death-thrash metal with oriental flavored instrumentation, vocals and orchestrations.

"The album has been recorded over the course of five months in five different recording studios. Mixed and mastered by V. Santura, guitarist from Tryptikon, Dark Fortress and previously Celtic Frost. Cover artwork has been designed by Michal 'Xaay' Loranc (Nile, Kamelot) and the promotional pictures have been taken by Bandphoto.pl.

"Saratan has recorded this album as a three piece band, after having parted ways with guitarist Mateusz Gajdzik. More info about the album and the record company coming soon!"

Saratan Streaming New Song Online

Saratan has issued the following update about streaming the new song "Destroy Yourself" on their MySpace page:

"Check out Saratan's new song 'Destroy Yourself'. Our friend Daniel Kesler (Redemptor, Sothoth) played here a guest solo. We are still working on layout and the other sfuff.

"Also we made a video for this song. We are still working on the final version. More info soon!!"
