"Holy Fucking AntiChristmas" Volume 5 Released
The fifth annual "Holy Fucking AntiChristmas" compilation has now been posted online for free streaming and download via Misantrof ANTIRecords right here. Misantrof also comments:
"If you're reading this, doomsday is cancelled, or who knows? Maybe the armageddon will come later today. So either you want to celebrate the fact you are still alive, or you want to die happily later today, this is the only soundtrack you need.
"Our sole concern is that it seems we're about to get another money based Christmas. Once again. Christmas has now lost whatever religious significance it had to all but a small handful of people, and it has become a sick orgy of exploitation where everyone is encouraged to spend money to buy stuff they don't need and probably cannot afford.
"We just want to give everyone something for free, and hopefully at the same time make people sit back and realize that there are ways to have fun that do not require vast sums of money."

Throne Of Malediction Announces Lineup Changes
Eric Horner of Throne of Malediction has checked in with the following update about the band's current lineup and upcoming activity:
"Throne of Malediction is down to two members at the moment. Eric and Jessica Horner, both on guitars and vocals. We have moved to Ozark, Missouri (near Springfield) and are soon to be looking for new members to get some live shows going soon.
"Our album 'Ceremonial Blood' is on order from the manufacturer and should be released by mid-June, after a long wait (available through our label). In addition, our label, Ziekte Records is now part of Victory By Fire Records (Holland). So Throne is through Victory By Fire, officially as of now.
"Me and Jessica are also recording a few new songs already with a few guest musicians (one is a legend in his own right...) for Throne's 2nd album. We are also going to release an extra, free download EP through Black Metal Agenda (Norway) with extra songs and covers (including a planned cover of 'The Prize of Beauty' by My Dying Bride). So, even without a full lineup, Throne of Malediction is very much active and looking forward to the future."
Throne of Malediction also recently contributed an entry to our Pit Stories column with a story about the hair extension battle royale at a Cradle of Filth show. You can check out Throne of Malediction's interview with Metalunderground.com about the art of black metal and religion's role in the musical style here.
