Omission Reveals New Album Details

Spain's Omission has finished the recordings for the band's 2nd full length album entitled "Merciless Jaws from Hell," which will be released through Xtreem Music in January 2011. The band suffered a few line-up changes since the release of the debut album "Thrash Metal is Violence" in late 2009. The band's new opus was recorded by the two remaining members Patillas (guitars/vocals) and Marco (guitars), with the addition of new bass player Surt and with Avulsed's drummer Riky playing the entire recording as session member, as the band is still searching for a steady drummer.

"Merciless Jaws from Hell" was recorded between August - October and the track list for the new album is as follows:

4. We Are The Dead
5. Architects Of Fear

Omission Finishes New Album

Spain's Omission has issued the following update about finishing the recording of a new album:

"Just to let you know that the new Omission record is done. Once again all recordings were done in the WolfPack Studios with the help of Ivan. All recordings and mixings are done. Dani from the mighty Rancor screamed a bit on this 2nd blasphemy. Willy from SteelHorse made an amazing solo work in one track. Cover and layout are done: LEATHER, SEX, BULLETS AND SPIKES

"We are pending on Xtreem music for the release, possibly the CD will be out in January and the vinyl version a bit later, a tape will also be release possibly by WarProductions...but we'll never know, to many people involved, manufacturers etc. Still searching for a permanent drummer. Cheers you Maniacs."

Omission Checks In With Recording Update

Spain's Omission has checked in with the following recording update:

"Well guys, just to give you an update on what is going on with Omission. Last weekend Patillas recorded the vocals for the new record, the cover is on it's way with some huge mountains in the horizon.

"Next weekend the great Willy Gaston from the mighty Steel Horse will record a solo for a new track and Patillas with Dani from Thrashers Rancor will finish the recordings with all the chorus. Hopefully in October the new depravity will be finished and ready to be unleashed, probably this year. All drums recorded by Riky from Avulsed, still after a fucking drummer. Stay tuned, Thrashing all around."

Spain's Omission, which had recently announced several changes in the band's lineup, has now issued the following brief comment about recruiting a new bassist: "New bass player. It's official Dani leaves the band and the new bass player is Jaime. Jaime also plays in Wolfencross. Still missing a drummer." Omission Issues Band Update

Spain's Omission has issued the following update about experiencing lineup issues and gearing up to enter the studio this fall:

"Well guys we are having some problems with the lineup, those problems will be solved soon. For now we are playing as much as we can with 2 drummers! One for the recording of the next release, this one is Riky from the almighty Avulsed, thanks for the time expended, and the other is Marcos for the gigs.

"Right now we have 2 drummers without having one, life is hard. Bass player also coming and going...about this we will give some news this week. Next September 4th we will play in Portugal with a bunch of maniacs such as Holocausto Canibal, Switchtense, Decrepidemic, Cold Ones, Killem etc. We will go to studio sometime in September/October, artwork will be done in September, and let's pray to our friend Jesus Christ to see if there are no more issues. We love you Jesus!...your mother too! Satanic speed hailz!"

Omission Recruits New Drummer

Spanish thrashers Omission, who recently signed to Xtreem Music, have issued the following update about recruiting a new drummer:

"Omission hellcomes Marcos the new drummer, after some musical differences and personal issues Juanjo left the band. The last gig with Juanjo was in Tenerife. Marcos used to play with Kaothic and Terroristars. HELLCOME MARCOS!"

Omission Signs To Xtreem Music

Spanish thrash metal band Omission has announced their signing to Xtreem Music. XTREEM MUSIC will re-issue their debut album, "Thrash Metal is Violence," which will include two unreleased live bonus tracks. THe album will be re-issued on April 15th.

Omission Plans Split Releases and Debut Album

Spanish thrashers OMISSION will release a split CD with Germany's OLD. The 12” EP with gatefold cover will feature four live songs of each band, recorded on September 27th in Madrid, Spain. The self financed release will see the light around February/March 2009.

In addition, Omission will start the recordings for their debut album in early 2009. The release of the, as yet untitled, album will be in the fall 2009.

Following with more split releases, the Spanish quartet will also appear in one of the next installments of the Thrash Metal Blitzkrieg series, 7” vinyls hosted by German label Iron Bonehead along with Deathstrike. In other news, Omission will see their second and third demo, "Yell That Destroys" (2007) and "V.P.A." (2008), re-released on cassette by Screaming Against God! Prod. Both will be included in one cassette titled "Angel Fuck" that comes with new artwork and in a strictly limited edition.
