Austrian Death Machine Posts "Jingle Bells" Online
Austrian Death Machine has posted a teaser of their rendition of "Jingle Bells" on MySpace one day before the band's release of "A Very Brutal Chritsmas."
The band comments:
"Everyone needs a thrashed out version of Jingle Bells to mix up this years boring holiday music. Plus, no one brings the holiday cheer quite like Ahhnold."
"A Very Brutal Chritsmas" is a 3-song CD single due out tomorrow, November 25, containing the following tracks:
1. Jingle Bells
2. Get To The Choppa
3. Hell Bent For Leather (Judas Priest cover)
Austrian Death Machine To Release Christmas Song
Austrian Death Machine has posted the following message online:
"This year, the holidays will be brutalized by Ahhnold and the Austrian Death Machine crew. In our efforts to make Christmas "metal," "brutal," and other choice adjectives, I will be releasing the rendition of the holiday classic 'Jingle Bells'. Also on the single is the soon-to-be classic, 'Get To The Choppa', and Austrian Death Machine's cover of JUDAS PRIEST's 'Hell Bent For Leather.'
"Ahhnold was quoted as saying: 'Why write a new song, when I can take whatever one I want? Give me that guitar you girly man!'
"Look out for the Austrian Death Machine Xmas EP to be available on November 25th!"
Austrian Death Machine Planning For Next Album
Austrian Death Machine is starting to plan ahead for the next album and is taking guitar solo suggestions from fans. Here is the update from the band (i.e. Tim Lambesis):
"Since my self imposed rules state there must be 'a guitar solo in every song,' then I better start planning ahead for the next album. Hopefully everyone enjoyed the guitar solos on every song of the Total Brutal album. Now it's time to hear your suggestions for the next one...
"PLEASE POST YOUR SUGGESTIONS AS A COMMENT TO THIS BLOG!"
Austrian Death Machine Show Gets Shut Down
Apparently Austrian Death Machine's first show was shut down prematurely due to a crowd member's actions. Here is a blog post from the band about it:
"So, this news is about a week old for some of you Californians, but I know that not everyone lives in this great state, so I will tell the story to the masses.
"Last week was the first ever Austrian Death Machine show. Everyone but Ahhnold was nervous because we didn't want to let down the great Governator and we only had two days to practice together. Well, four songs into our set we were just starting to get comfortable when T-1000 walked into the venue.
"I couldn't believe it! T-1000 (who kept trying to tell me he was a real California police officer) shut the show down because some idiot in the crowd decided to get too violent. Even though we had nothing to do with this craziness, I still feel there are some people I need to apologize to. Here is the list...
- everyone who paid to see the show and only got to see 4 songs
- our friends that got jumped by some stupid "crew" at the show (sorry to EJ in particular)
- Antagonist who was supposed to play after us
- the rest of the guys in the band who helped me pull of this project live... Mark MacDonald flew in from New Hampshire and Jon "Charn" Rice flew in from Phoenix"

Austrian Death Machine Posts First Song Online
Austrian Death Machine, the Arnold Schwarzenegger tribute/parody metalcore band featuring As I Lay Dying's Tim Lambesis, has released their first full song online on their MySpace page, "If it Bleeds, We Can Kill It." Austrian Death Machine will be releasing their debut album, "Total Brutal," via Metal Blade Records on July 22nd.
There was an extensive posting made about the new single on their MySpace blog (including lyrics):
"Today Austrian Death Machine released the first single off their eagerly awaited debut Total Brutal. The track, 'If it Bleeds, We Can Kill It,' features the voice of Ahhnold as Dutch from the movie Predator screaming back and forth with the Predator himself! 'In the first verse Ahhnold is talking trash about how he's going to take Predator down, but in the second verse Predator comes back spittin' his evil game. This is the classic struggle of good and evil but with way bigger muscles and more brutal double bass. In fact, I think it's the breakdown about 1/2 way through the song that crushes Predator's evil once and for all' comments band member Tim Lambesis.
"One could not pick a better track for the first single off Total Brutal. Mainly because Predator is one of the best movies ever made in the history of man and received a countless amount of awards at the 1987 Oscars (Best Actor Ever, Best Chest Explosion, Best Use of Chameleon-like Camouflage to Kill as Many People as You Can, Cast Most Likely To Go On To Be Governors, etc). Or at least we think it did. And if it didn't then it should have seeing as Ahhnold once again saved the world, this time from aliens who wanted nothing more than to peel the skin off our bodies and make trophies out of our skulls.
"Here's what front-man Ahhnold had to say about the band's first single: 'Most bands put all of their good songs first. Instead I decided to release track 15 first to prove that this album is Total Brutal from start to finish. If you like this song, then get ready for 17 tracks of punishing brutality when the CD finally hits.... or when I hit you in the face for not buying it. Whichever happens first, at least we know things only get better from here.'"
