Eyes Set To Kill has released the "Infected" single, which comes off the band's forthcoming album "Masks," set to hit stores September 17th on Century Media Records.
In the time leading up to pre-production and the recording of forthcoming album "Masks," Eyes Set To Kill decided to hunker down and demo two of the group's strongest new songs, "True Colors" and "Nothing Left to Say."
"Those two songs served as a blueprint for the entire record," explains singer, songwriter, and guitarist Alexia Rodriguez. "When we were writing, I didn't try to do what everybody else does. We didn't need to throw a ton of riffs into one song or get overly technical. I wanted to make music that was catchy."
With that mindset, the group retreated to a Southern California studio with producer Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura). Check out a sneak peek into the recording process below.
"Masks" will be in stores September 17th, 2013 through Century Media Records. More...

A new lyric video for the track "Lost and Forgotten" can be found below. The following press release was also issued:
"At some point or another, everybody wears a mask. That facade doesn't just hide imperfections or insecurities either. It allows its wearer to assume a different face. Sometimes, that's a dangerous proposition. Other times, it's the only way to find oneself." More...
Eyes Set To Kill will uncover the band's identity with "Masks," the fifth full-length album and first for Century Media Records. "Masks" is set for release September 17, 2013 in North America.
Singer Alexia Rodrigues comments: "I felt like we were wearing a bunch of masks to impress people. At one point, I had a bit of a revelation. We have gone through so many changes over the years, but it wasn't about anybody else. It was about us - we've really found the band's face at this point. We aren't wearing masks anymore."

"Century Media has been a fan of Eyes Set To Kill for years," states North America label President Don Robertson, "so we're honored that when the band finally decided to return to the label system that they chose to work with us."
