Eyes Set To Kill recently completed a lyric video for the song "Little Liar" from the 2013 release, "Masks." Check it out below. Vocalist Alexia Rodriguez comments:
"I started out writing this song about a woman named 'Jodi Arias' who was on trial for brutally killing her boyfriend during the writing process of 'Masks.' I found it fascinating that she kept denying and digging a hole deeper for herself by piling lies on top of lies.
"The whole world knew she was guilty but she still held on to her lies like she would eventually be set free. What I got from the whole story, was that the bigger the lie, the bigger the chances of getting caught. I think a lot of people, including me, have been in relationships where our significant-other has denied everything we have accused them of... only to learn that our gut instinct was correct when it's too late." The band continues to support the release of "Masks" (Century Media 2013) and current radio single "Little Liar."
"We are exceedingly grateful to have dedicated diehard fans which makes being on the road so worth it," states Eyes Set To Kill singer, Alexia Rodriguez.
"We've been fortunate to live our dream and bring our music to our fans while introducing them to some fresh, up and coming bands as well," adds Rodriguez. The new tour will kick off on October 4th at Muncheez in Beckley, WV with support from Scare Don't Fear and Like Monroe. More...
Last Tuesday while performing at the Aftershock Bar & Grill in Kansas, Eyes Set To Kill bass player Anissa Rodriguez was taken to the hospital for problems with her eye.
She was later diagnosed with a blood clot behind her left eye and was hospitalized until yesterday when the doctor let her go home back to Arizona, but she will be on bed rest for the next couple of weeks.
The band has now officially cancelled the remainder of upcoming tour dates in July as a result and hope to get back on the road and make up shows soon. Singer/guitarist and sister Alexia Rodriguez has released this statement:
"Eyes Set To Kill must unfortunately cancel the rest of our tour dates in July due to the recent discovery of a blood clot behind my sister Anissa's eye. I have witnessed my sister go through some painful procedures and I am thankful that I have had the chance to be by her side through it all. The doctor said she is going to need a couple weeks to recover and I will continue to stay by her side to help her back to health.
"We want to thank all the fans for their love and understanding. We also hope to make up for our cancelled appearances somehow, someway. This past week has been a scary journey but I am just happy I could be here for her through the most excruciating experience and we are both so thankful to have been reading all of the love from our devoted fans and family. I truly believe their prayers helped her spirits and sped up her healing process."

Eyes Set To Kill has released the "Infected" single, which comes off the band's forthcoming album "Masks," set to hit stores September 17th on Century Media Records.
In the time leading up to pre-production and the recording of forthcoming album "Masks," Eyes Set To Kill decided to hunker down and demo two of the group's strongest new songs, "True Colors" and "Nothing Left to Say."
"Those two songs served as a blueprint for the entire record," explains singer, songwriter, and guitarist Alexia Rodriguez. "When we were writing, I didn't try to do what everybody else does. We didn't need to throw a ton of riffs into one song or get overly technical. I wanted to make music that was catchy."
With that mindset, the group retreated to a Southern California studio with producer Steve Evetts (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Sepultura). Check out a sneak peek into the recording process below.
"Masks" will be in stores September 17th, 2013 through Century Media Records. More...
