Canada's traditional metal warriors in Savage Blade are excited to announce the release of their second album, "Angel Museum."
Following 2010's “We Are The Hammer,” the new record is firmly entrenched in the same classic sound and style of the previous first release, yet signals a growth in the band’s collaborative songwriting, arrangement, and production efforts. Savage Blade describes it as "intense, progressive, thrashy, epic, and wicked."
"Angel Museum" is available on limited edition LP, CD, and digital download directly from the band, and you can hear three tracks off the album at the Savage Blade website here. The track listing is as follows:

Canadian metal act Savage Blade is currently offering a promotional single as a free download, which can be found at this location. The band also commented:

Savage Blade is also currently working on the full-length album "Angel Museum," which is set for release late this year.

Canadian true metal warriors, Savage Blade announced the addition of our two new band members, Chris Killeen (Accident Scene, Circle the Wagons, Ravenhead) and Mike Hodsall (Noble Five, Circle the Wagons, Eugene's Axe). "Chris is an experienced, hard-hitting dynamic drummer," the band comments, "and Mike brings monster chops, big volume and an even bigger stage presence to the fold." With the lineup complete, Savage Blade has begun rehearsals and is working with veteran production company, PB PRO Audio, in developing the live show they plan to bring to fans at home and abroad.
The band's latest album, "We Are The Hammer," just recently received and international CD release via Pure Steel Records. Re-mastered for CD by Rocco Stellmacher, the album has hit hard with metal fans around the world, garnering rave reviews and receiving steadily-increasing underground support and broadcast airplay.

Canadian power metal band, Savage Blade, are pleased to announce the online release of their first single, "We Are The Hammer," which is the title track from their forthcoming debut album.
Produced by the band and engineer/amateur wrestler Andy Chute, "We Are The Hammer" was recorded at Funktion Studios in Nelson BC, Canada and completed in the late spring of 2008. "We Are The Hammer" is currently being mixed in Vancouver BC by producer/engineer Futcher (the BeGoodTanyas, HellenKeller, Girl Nobody), and the band plans to announce an official release date for the album in the coming weeks.
After a year-long search, Canadian power metal outfit Savage Blade are excited to announce the addition of lead vocalist Nikko Forsberg. Bringing an instantly memorable classic metal voice and commanding stage presence to the fold, this ex-Mormon wild child has proven to be the perfect fit for the true metal sound of Savage Blade.
The Blade is currently producing their debut album "We Are The Hammer" in Nelson BC, Canada, with the services of producer/engineer Andy Chute. Fueled by the NWOBHM and the classic power metal bands of the early eighties, Savage Blade pledge to Kill ’Em All For One. "We Are The Hammer" will be released in North America on indie label Black Banana Records, with European distribution to be handled by German-based Underground Power. In true 80's metal fashion, the band plans to release the album for retail on vinyl and cassette only, with online digital downloads available for free.
As a pre-album teaser, and in tribute to one of their biggest influences, the band has posted their cover version of the classic Saxon track, "Dallas 1PM," on their MySpace page.
