Savage Blade Announces New Members, Debut Album Get International Release

Canadian true metal warriors, Savage Blade announced the addition of our two new band members, Chris Killeen (Accident Scene, Circle the Wagons, Ravenhead) and Mike Hodsall (Noble Five, Circle the Wagons, Eugene's Axe). "Chris is an experienced, hard-hitting dynamic drummer," the band comments, "and Mike brings monster chops, big volume and an even bigger stage presence to the fold." With the lineup complete, Savage Blade has begun rehearsals and is working with veteran production company, PB PRO Audio, in developing the live show they plan to bring to fans at home and abroad.

The band's latest album, "We Are The Hammer," just recently received and international CD release via Pure Steel Records. Re-mastered for CD by Rocco Stellmacher, the album has hit hard with metal fans around the world, garnering rave reviews and receiving steadily-increasing underground support and broadcast airplay.

"Savage Blade have kicked out a massive debut album," says Andreas Lorenz of Pure Steel Records. "From first note to last, this album breathes the true spirit of classic heavy metal, with playing and songwriting skills that stand on the same level as many legendary 80's metal bands. We see a bright future with Savage Blade, and look forward to forging a successful partnership, and delivering their premium brand of vintage-style metal to the masses."
