The inaugural Rock 'N Derby - presented by SLP Concerts and GameLoud - will take over the 35+ acre Schaghticoke Fairgrounds in Schaghticoke, NY (69 Stillwater Bridge Rd. just minutes outside Albany) on May 20 - 22, 2016.
This isn't just a festival, this is a three-day, 24 hour camping, demolition derby concert experience, and the bands keep on coming.
The lineup now includes Corrosion Of Conformity, Hollywood Undead, State Champs, Sebastian Bach, Enter Shikari, Born of Osiris, Avatar, For Today, Rings of Saturn, Cilver and Bad Case For Big Mouth.
They join previously announced bands Five Finger Death Punch, Shinedown, A Day To Remember, Halestorm, Megadeth, Coheed and Cambria, Sixx: A.M., Lamb Of God, Clutch, Parkway Drive, Anthrax, Ghost, Collective Soul, Extreme, Wolfmother, Sevendust, Dokken, Trivium, Memphis May Fire, We Came As Romans, Scott Stapp, All That Remains, Stray From The Path, Pop Evil, Thy Art Is Murder, Red Sun Rising, Wild Throne, Like A Storm and Currents, plus Tool tribute band Schism and '70's dirt rock cover band Chevy Metal.

The organisers of Britain' Download Festival have revealed that in addition the recent announcement that Aerosmith and Rage Against The Machine will be headlining the event over the weekend, five more bands have also been confirmed. American heavy metal favourites Lamb Of God will be performing, along with Thirty Seconds To Mars, Five Finger Death Punch, Stone Sour and veteran rocker Billy Idol. The festival will take place at Donington Park from June 11th - 13th.

American hard rock legends Aerosmith and rap rock veterans Rage Against The Machine have been confirmed as the headline acts at this year's edition of Britain's Download Festival, in addition to previously announced headliners AC/DC. Rage Against The Machine will be headlining the saturday with Aerosmith taking the top spot the next day. Other bands confirmed for the event include Motorhead, Deftones, Them Crooked Vultures, Megadeth and Stone Temple Pilots. It will take place at Donington Park from June 11th - 13th.
Rock Against Diabetes is gearing up for their upcoming event on August 23rd by auctioning off spectacular music memorabilia and instruments donated by celebrities and artists in support of the event. Featured items include:
A 3 hour private guitar lesson with Bumblefoot (GnR) in the NYC Gibson showroom, Winner will receive a guitar (TBD model), a one of a kind private lesson, signed Bumblefoot T-shirt, and signed CD's, including the new release "Abnormal."
A Minarik Lotus Guitar, autographed by ALL of the Houseguests of Big Brother 9, Evel Dick Donato, Janelle Pierzina, and loads more of the cast and crew of the Big Brothers series.

Sydney's WOLFMOTHER are the first Aussie band in 25 years to win a Grammy Award. Wolfmother's 'Woman' beat out songs by Tool, System of a Down, Nine Inch Nails and Buckcherry to take home the 'Best Hard Rock Performance' category.
In a statement, the band says "A Grammy was the last thing on our minds today. We really thought that was reserved for the permanent residents of the U.S.A. We're honoured and we're overwhelmed. It's enormous!"
The last Australian band to win a Grammy Award was Men At Work 25 years ago.
