Former Blood Feast Drummer Launches Annunaki

LAMENT, the New Jersey thrash metal band featuring ex-BLOOD FEAST member Kevin Kuzma, disbanded earlier this year after parting ways with female vocalist Linda Alexander. The remaining members (Kevin Kuzma - drums; John Blicharz - guitar; Karl Odenwalder - bass) have recruited vocalist Tony Stanziano, and the band's sound shifted towards a blackened death metal sound while maintaining the thrash metal influence.

Along with the lineup change and the new direction, the band has officially changed its name to ANNUNAKI. "The new no-boundries, heavier, and more brutal/technical sound gave the band a new identity," says the band. "With so much contrast between then and now, a name change was necessary." ANNUNAKI are currently in the writing stages and will be recording their debut album, "Throne of the Annunaki", at Trax East Studios this September. The album is due out on Militia Records this October.
