Rock Photography Showcase Coming To Rock And Shock

Photographer Jeremy Saffer will be bringing his patented brand of metal madness to Rock & Shock 2014.

"Jeremy Saffer Presents: The Rocking Dead" will feature some of your favorite rock stars in all of their gothic glory meeting fans and signing autographs as part of the 11th annual horror and music convention.

The showcase is set to feature Misfits guitarist Doyle Wolfgang von Frankenstein, Murderdolls frontman Wednesday 13, Faster Pussycat guitarist Ace Von Johnson, Deadstar Assembly and Genitorturers drummer Kriz DK and Dope/Static X guitarist Virus.

This roster of rockers will be joining previously announced guests such as Brad Dourif (Child's Play, Halloween, The Lord of the Rings), Tara Reid (Sharknado 1 & 2, Urban Legend, American Pie series) and John Ratzenberger (Motel Hell, Cheers, Toy Story 1-3). Wednesday 13 To Release Remix Album

Wednesday 13, known for his work in the group Murderdolls, has revealed the details behind his forthcoming remix album. The release, titled "Re-animated," will feature five songs taken from his previous "Skeletons" CD. In addition, a portion of the proceeds from the album's first month of release will be donated to the American Red Cross. The tracklisting for the effort can be found below.

The Defiled Comments On Murderdolls Tour

U.K. metal act The Defiled has posted the following comment online, in regards to their forthcoming tour with the Murderdolls:

"We can't wait to be a part of this tour! Having been fans of Murderdolls for some time, it's gonna be great to be sharing the stage with 'em every night. It'll be our first outing in 2011 promoting our new album, so we're looking forward to be playing more new stuff! The amount of hairspray and make up used between the three bands on the bill could reach new heights! Who needs an ozone layer anyway?"

Murderdolls Cancels U.S. Tour Dates

Murderdolls, the band featuring Slipknot drummer Joey Jordison, has announced that they have cancelled their upcoming tour of the United States as a result of a family emergency. A message from the band reads as follows:

"Due to an unforeseeable family emergency Murderdolls have been forced to cancel the upcoming Violent Night, Deadly Night tour. These decisions are never easy to make and we did everything we could to keep from having to cancel, but this was unavoidable. We’ll do our best to make up the dates in 2011. For those who bought tickets, refunds are available from point of purchase. Sorry ghoulscouts but we’ll see you all soon!"

Zombie, Murderdolls, Monster Magnet Sidewaves Show

Several bands on 2011's Soundwave lineup are coming together for an off-date "Sidewaves" show down south. With the Melbourne festival sold out, fans will still be able to catch Rob Zombie, Murderdolls, Monster Magnet and Dommin live at Festival Hall on March 3rd. All ages and licensed areas are available. Tickets go on sale Friday November 26th from Ticketmaster.

Vampires Everywhere! Announces New Live Shows

Vampires Everywhere! will be embarking on a tour alongside Alesana and Our Last Night as the band gears up for the release of the new single "Undead Heart," which will be released on November 29th. Vampires Everywhere! also recently completed work on the video for "Undead Heart" and will be touring with Murderdolls in December.

Michael Vampire comments, "We are extremely honored and excited to be on tour with the MurderDolls in December! We really appreciate them taking us out on this run and look forward to melting some faces. VE! Is excited to bring you new music from our upcoming full length and, of course, an intense stage show! Zombie and Cooper on Halloween Hootenanny Tour

Back by popular demand, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper will reunite for The Halloween Hootenanny Tour featuring the Gruesome Twosome with special guests (and Zombie labelmates) Murderdolls. The tour kicks off in Los Angeles at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Thursday, September 30th (see below for tour dates). The pair recently shared the stage for a highly-successful, sold-out limited North American run earlier this year and have long been fans of one another, as well as good friends. Drummer Joey Jordison will be doing double-duty on the dates, playing drums with Rob Zombie, as well as playing guitar with his own band, special guests Murderdolls.
