More Big Name Drummers Announce NAMM Signings

Pearl Drums is hosting an autograph session at this year's Winter NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants), which runs from January 17 to January 20 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, California. The signing will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 19 at the Pearl booth. It will feature some of the best-known artists in rock and metal, including the following:

Adrian Erlandsson (CRADLE OF FILTH, NEMHAIN)
Barry Kerch (SHINEDOWN)
Chad Smith (RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS)
Craig Nunenmacher (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY)

Soil Chooses Shinedown Tour Over In Flames Tour

SOIL guitarist Shaun Glass has released a statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET explaining the band's decision to pull out of the upcoming IN FLAMES/LACUNA COIL trek (where they have since been replaced by Massachusetts' SEEMLESS).

Commented Glass: "SOIL has decided on doing a December run with our longtime friends in SHINEDOWN, which is [slated to take place at] the exact same time as the IN FLAMES/LACUNA COIL tour.

"We hope too see you all out at the 'Kill Your Liver Part 2 Tour'. Dates to be announced!"

Winter Fresh SnoCore Tour In Ft Wayne, IN

Feb 17th, 2006 – Ft Wayne, IN – Pieres Nightclub

Well the night didn’t start out good. Besides being late and missing Halestorm and some asshole bumping into me and knocking my camera to the ground and breaking it (The reason why I didn’t photograph Seether), the night wasn’t that bad considering all I endured.

So I did miss Halestorm, although I did have the pleasure of seeing/photographing them in Detroit on Dec 17th, 2005 in Detroit. Great band with lots of potential. Look for them in your Neighborhood. More...

Seether On Tonight Show, More SnoCore Dates

Seether will perform "Remedy" on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Friday Jan. 13th! The program airs on NBC at 11:35pm ET - check the local listings in your area.

NIN, Zombie, A7X, more On Global Gathering 2006

Nine Inch Nails, Rob Zombie, Avenged Sevenfold, Coheed and Cambria, Rise Against and Shinedown are among the acts slated to play the Global Gathering 2006 music festival at Bicentennial Park in Miami on March 18. The show isnot exclusively metal, however, as the event's web site also promises three techno/dance-oriented stages, with sets by Sasha & Digweed, Deep Dish, Überzone and Freq Nasty.
