SOIL guitarist Shaun Glass has released a statement to BLABBERMOUTH.NET explaining the band's decision to pull out of the upcoming IN FLAMES/LACUNA COIL trek (where they have since been replaced by Massachusetts' SEEMLESS).

Commented Glass: "SOIL has decided on doing a December run with our longtime friends in SHINEDOWN, which is [slated to take place at] the exact same time as the IN FLAMES/LACUNA COIL tour.

"We hope too see you all out at the 'Kill Your Liver Part 2 Tour'. Dates to be announced!"

Looks like they're taking the more rock oriented route for this tour. But I do like Shinedown a lot and if they come to Chicago I will definitely see them! The singer has some major pipes! And now you can go ahead and criticize me...

Damn, I was looking forward to that tour with SOiL and Lacuna Coil, but you know this tour with Shinedown and SOiL is gonna be great. I will definately go if they come to Chicago, which they should considering thats where SOiL's roots are.

And Shinedown being a platinum album band they can most likely get into a better venue than In Flames probably can. Them selling so many albums show the venue that they can definitely get people to come out. And I wouldn't doubt that quite a few of their shows will be sold out.

ummm....ok, shinedown pretty much sucks ass...i thought this was a metal site? and we're talking about shinedown? I like soil...probably would have been better off playing with in flames. In flames murders! I mean, why dont we all just go to a puddle of crud concert? or a smile empty soul concert, because they are so heavy i cant even stop my face from melting off. Id rather stab a knife in my ear! Shinedown should be playing with Dust For Life...and Soil needs to come to thier senses along with most of you.

Are these people f***ing serious? Did I just see posts on a metalunderground.com forum that Shinedown is their favorite band and that they are better than In Flames? I'm trying to formulate a sarcastic retort for these fags but I am really too astounded to think clearly. Wow. f***in' wow.
