Since the band's inception, Touche Amore has been touring relentlessly, playing emotional hardcore/punk everywhere from dingy basements to sprawling arenas.
While traveling in the U.K. in 2013, the band was invited to record at the legendary BBC Studios for "The Punk Show" with host Mike Davies for a second time. Again, Touche Amore worked with engineer Simon Askew (Pulp, PJ Harvey, Foo Fighters) and assistant Phil Deacon during a half day of recording.
Touche Amore “Live on BBC Radio 1” Vol. 2 offers renditions of recent “Is Survived By” anthems “Just Exist,” “Harbor,” and “Non Fiction,” as well as “Gravity, Metaphorically,” originally on the band's split with Pianos Become The Teeth.
Also on September 30th, Touche Amore will re-press the TA/Title Fight split 7" EP on Secret Voice Records. This EP was originally released via Sealegs as a Record Store Day 2013 exclusive, and features Touche Amore covering Title Fight's "Crescent-Shaped Depression" while Title Fight covers Touche Amore's "Face Ghost." "Our new video for the song 'I Don't Want To Be Here Anymore' encompasses the overwhelming noise of our world and the fatigue we all feel as its witness. This song is a starting point, not an ending point. It's about the wake-up calls in life that let us know something needs to change." More...

Superfly and A.C. Entertainment recently announced that the Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival has added several artists to the 2010 event, but I thought I'd highlight the few heavier bands on the line-up:
You really have to be a general music fan to appreciate a festival like Bonnaroo, so diehard metalheads need not bother. The full Bonnaroo 2010 lineup can be found here. The music festival takes place on Thursday, June 10 through June 13.
Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Phish, Jack Johnson and other top artists are donating their music to encourage Americans to speak out on climate change. Organized by the Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, HeadCount and the NRDC Action Fund, this collaboration marks the first time free music has been used to prompt Americans to contact their elected officials.
Best of Bonnaroo, a compilation of 17 different live performances from the festival (unfortunately none of the heavier ones), is available for free at www.Musicforaction.org.

Rise Against are bringing their tour mates Rancid and Billy Talent along with them, and we will have our buds All That Remains and White Chapel along with us. Plus all you can eat hot wings somewhere nearby! So make sure to check it out. Also be sure to catch Rise Against on tour with Rancid through the end of July!"

Along with the album news, the band announced plans for a headlining tour this Fall. The Live Nation-produced tour will include openers Alkaline Trio, Thrice and Gaslight Anthem. Official tour dates to be announced soon.
