Vomit Forth Debuts "Seething Malevolence" Video
Connecticut-based Northeast death metal powerhouse Vomit Forth have just released their new music video for their title track "Seething Malevolence" today via Century Media Records. You can check it out below.
"‘Seething Malevolence‘ is a declaration of war against a world we hate for hating us,” states VOMIT FORTH vocalist Kane Gelaznik about the track. “We‘ve never fit in anywhere and we made music for people who felt the same way. We‘re too hardcore for death metal and too death metal for hardcore so we decided to make the hardest death metal song in hardcore and the hardest hardcore song in death metal. We aren‘t afraid to be who we are and we won‘t ever stop. For anyone who is pissed off and feels alone. This is for you." More...
Vomit Forth Releases New Music Video
Connecticut-based Northeast death metal powerhouse Vomit Forth has just released their new song and video for "Carnivorous Incantation" today via Century Media Records. You can check it out below.
"Carnivorous Incantation is somewhat of a self-reflective song," states Vomit Forth vocalist Kane Gelaznik about the track. "It's about the effects of abuse on our psyche. Abuse begets abuse like some horrible spell cast on us all. The song is a way of trying to externalize, understand, and move past trauma. This video is intentionally unnerving and spastic. We wanted the video to stick with you because of the subject matter of the song. That's a big reason we decided to go with 8498. I hope this helps victims of abuse of any kind to move past their trauma." More...
Vomit Forth Posts New Music Video Online
Connecticut-based Northeast death metal powerhouse Vomit Forth have just released their new song and music video for “Predatory Saviour” today via Century Media Records.
"This was the first song we wrote for ’Seething Malevolence‘. It actually used to be the title track, but it just didn't feel right. It set the tone for the record," states Vomit Forth about "Predatory Saviour." "The purpose of the song is to convey to people that the world we live in is not safe. The people we think are here to keep us safe are just as flawed and corrupted as anyone else. People in religion, politics, or in any place of power really are there because there's blood on their hands either literally or metaphorically. The very people we trust to keep us safe are the same ones ready to eat our corpses when they're done with them."
"Predatory Saviour" is off Vomit Forth‘s forthcoming full-length album, "Seething Malevolence," which is set for release on July 8th. While the band is known for a sound that borrows from the underappreciated East Coast death metal blueprint belched up from bands like Internal Bleeding and Scattered Remnants, Seething Malevolence expands to more experimental and unexpected sounds, refracting the band‘s love for the likes of Napalm Death or Full of Hell. "Seething Malevolence" delivers on the promise of everything Vomit Forth has hinted at so far Northeast death metal. More...
