Melvins Sell Out The House In New Orleans

The staff of One Eyed Jacks taped a crude “Sold Out” sign on the door at 6 o’clock. Those hoping to pay at the door were disheartened at the news, but happy for the band that they so quickly sold out the venue. Those with the foresight to purchase ahead crowded the sidewalk beginning at dusk. They blocked the historic sidewalk to the beaded and soused tourist-traffic trying to find their way to the supposed Shangri La of Bourbon Street or away from the intense never-ending party nightmare that it really is. MDF 2012 Full Lineup And Set Times Announced

The tenth annual Maryland Deathfest is set to take place in Baltimore, Maryland on May 24-27, 2012. Tickets are still on sale for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, with Thursday is sold out.

The final lineup is confirmed and the running order and set times have been announced as follows:

Maryland Deathfest 2012 Final Bands Confirmed

The tenth annual Maryland Deathfest is set to take place in Baltimore, Maryland on May 24-27, 2012 and the final 12 bands were recently announced. They are:

Additionally, the organizers have announced the lineup for the first day (Thursday). AUTOPSY will be headlining this day and the rest of the bands playing will be: AGALLOCH, EYEHATEGOD, RORSCHACH, DYING FETUS, DESASTER, NEEDFUL THINGS, DIE PIGEON DIE, and EXTERMINATION ANGEL.

Maryland Deathfest X Initial Bands Announced

The organizers of the Maryland Deathfest have confirmed the first batch of bands for next year's edition of the event, which will take place from May 24-27, 2012 at Sonar in Baltimore, Maryland. The first names for the festival are as follows:

Unsane Announces New Tour Dates

New York noise act Unsane have announced a series of concerts set to take place throughout November. The seven date mini-tour includes performances on both the east and west coasts of the United States. No support acts have been announced at this time.

Today Is The Day Signs To Black Market Activities

Today Is The Day has announced their signing to Black Market Activities. Black Market Activities will release Today Is The Day’s ninth studio album in 2011.

August 21, 2010, Today Is The Day kicks off its first US tour in two years. The tour includes dates with Unsane, Keelhaul, and A Storm Of Light, as well as an appearance at the AmRep 25th Anniversary Bash, alonsgide Melvins, Boss Hog, and Hammerhead. The live Today Is The Day line-up consists of frontman Steve Austin, bassist Ryan Jones (Wetnurse) and drummer Curran Reynolds (Wetnurse).

Unsane Announces Tour Dates With Keelhaul

New York noise act Unsane have announced a series of concerts set to take place throughout the summer with Cleveland, Ohio's Keelhaul. The mini-tour, which includes one performance in Toronto, kicks off on August 5th, 2010 in New York City and runs until August 26th. Support on the trek will come from Nashville, Tennessee's Today Is the Day.

Unsane's "Scattered, smothered, covered" Reissued

UNSANE's “Scattered, smothered, covered” has been re-issued and is now available from Division Records. It’s a co-label edition (RRRecords + Division) in a nice double digipack with “Amrep Christmas live” as second disc. The band will be on tour during Mmarch 2006 across Europe, supporting both their new album, “Blood run,” and “S.S.C”.

Unsane And Buried Inside To Do Canadian Tour

UNSANE and BURIED INSIDE have announced plans to tour Canada together this fall.

Ottawa, ON's BURIED INSIDE will be providing direct support for NY noise rockers UNSANE as they kick off their tour in Moncton, NB on September 24 working their way East to Hamilton, ON on October 1st with additional dates pending. They will also be bringing with them Quebec's Mi Amore.

This is UNSANE's first Canadian tour in support of their new album, Blood Run.

UNSANE have completed work on their new album entitled Blood Run. Blood Run is the first full-length from the NYC noise rock kings since 1998's Occupational Hazard. The final track listing for Blood Run is:

Unsane European Tour Dates

UNSANE have returned to tour Europe for the first time in four years. All dates will be supported by Harmful.
