Scardust To Release New Album In July
Progressive symphonic metal band Scardust are thrilled to announce the release of their anticipated new studio album "Souls," out on July 18th, 2025, via Frontiers Music Srl. The band has also shared the new single and accompanying official video, “Dazzling Darkness," which can be seen below.
The band commented on the new album by saying: "'Souls' is a deep personal journey for us, combining everything from intricate progressive elements to sweeping symphonic passages, anthemic choruses and epic choirs. This album is a milestone for the band. It contains the Scardust DNA while experimenting with different writing and composing methods, involving every single musician in the band, resulting in the creation of the next evolution of our sound and pushing the boundaries of what we can express through music.
"Thematically we’ve explored ideas of memory, belonging, loss, and the desire for connection, weaving in influences from different musical worlds, including orchestral, Mediterranean, and even Celtic sounds," they added. "'Souls' is our most ambitious album to date, incorporating Scardust’s signature technical musicianship, and featuring the Hellscore choir and a string quartet throughout the entire album plus guest appearances from some international top tier musicians like Ross Jennings (Haken), Ally Storch (Subway to Sally), a Turkish orchestra and the TLV orchestra. It’s bold, it’s emotional and we hope it resonates deeply wherever it is heard." More...
Scardust Releases "RIP" Music Video
Israeli progressive symphonic metal band Scardust are excited to share their new official video "RIP," out now via Frontiers Music Srl. You can check it out below.
About the music video, Scardust says: "A cinematic video brings this concept to the screen with an unexpected twist. Filmmaker Lahav Levi depicts the story of Bitcoin’s mysterious creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, as he faces the bittersweet realization that he must vanish for his invention to thrive. Bitcoin enthusiasts may spot some of Satoshi’s famous last communications before his disappearance, and some authentic collectables. Others can simply enjoy an epic, high-energy short film about a heartbreaking decision.
"This is one of the heaviest and most technically complex tracks - arguably one of the most ambitious we've ever written. It features the powerful Hellscore choir, directed by Noa Gruman, and an exquisite Turkish strings orchestra, led by Mumin Sesler. Together, the choir and orchestra amplify the song's dramatic and theatrical essence. The song speaks about the painful act of asking a loved one to let you go, for their own sake. Through emotional death metaphors, it captures the sorrow of parting while encouraging them to move on and build a life without you." More...
Scardust Debuts "Concrete Cages" Video
Israel's progressive/symphonic metal wizards Scardust – joined by special guests Patty Gurdy and the Hellscore choir - have unveiled the music video for "Concrete Cages," the latest single from their critically acclaimed sophomore concept album “Strangers.” The compelling mix of beautifully-shot rooftop performance footage, gorgeous forest scenery and an underlying concept that plays out through the very final seconds of the video can be viewed below.
Says Patty Gurdy: "Working with Scardust is like working with a group of wizards. The whole band consists of extremely skilled musicians and their creative energy is absolutely inspiring."
Says vocalist Noa Gruman: "Filming 'Concrete Cages' was unbelievable. As soon as it was possible for Patty to finally make the trip to Tel Aviv, she hopped on a plane in a heartbeat. Patty is not only an amazing artist, but also an incredible human being. She has always believed in our music and never gave up on us. Hellscore is simply a family. They are always there for me, whether in the scorching sun or on a freezing night like the one we had on that glamorous skyscraper rooftop. The production was managed by the spirited Lahav Levi who worked round the clock to ensure that every second and every frame in this video is as close to perfect as could be. I hope you will be able to see the passion and love that was put into it. 'Concrete Cages' finally has the video it deserves!" More...

Scardust Posts New Music Video Online
Israeli progressive / symphonic metal band Scardust has unveiled "Gone," the epic conclusion to their latest two-part music video saga. The new clip – which completes a narrative that began in the video for its companion track, "Stranger" – can be viewed below. "Gone" and "Stranger" can also be streamed on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp and other digital platforms starting today.
Scardust's new record, Strangers – set to be released on October 30 by M-Theory Audio – is an intriguing concept album built of complementary song pairs working from the outside in. The first taste of the band's unique vision for their second full-length release was unveiled in September, through the music videos for "Tantibus II" and "Addicted."
Says vocalist Noa Gruman, "When someone close to your heart is leaving you and you’re breaking down and feeling that you’re left to face the world on your own, the shared memories and moments that you had become 'Stranger.' Being neglected is a fragile and exposed feeling, so in this one song we chose to lose the choir and strings and strip things down to the core musicians. In the video, they are playing the song, but never together, in an obscure, unrealistic location. They are surrounded by concrete pillars and the scene is continuously spinning, leaving the viewer feeling dizzy and uncomfortable. Lyrics pop out here and there to highlight specific parts, and there are also hints of water by the musicians' feet and paint cans lying on the ground. One may wonder why, and it will all be revealed in the other side of the story, told from the side of the neglector."
Mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Arch Enemy), "Strangers" was written and composed jointly by singer Noa Gruman and composer Orr Didi, who also collaborated with Gruman on Scardust's full-length debut, Sands Of Time, and their 2015 EP Shadow. The album features guest appearances from German folk musician Patty Gurdy, as well as vocals by the Hellscore choir and England’s prestigious Westbrook Hay Prep School Chamber Choir.
Scardust Reveals New Album Details
Israeli progressive wizards, Scardust, follow up their critically debut masterpiece "Sands Of Time" with "Strangers," an intriguing concept album recorded against all odds in the first half of 2020. Mixed by Yonatan Kossov (Orphaned Land, Amorphis) and mastered by Jens Bogren (Opeth, Devin Townsend, Arch Enemy), the album - which is now available for pre-order on CD and limited-edition gray smoke vinyl - will be released October 30 via M-Theory Audio. A 60-second teaser video can be seen below.
Vocalist Noa Gruman explains, "Strangers deals with the concept of being estranged. Written from multiple perspectives, it explores the ways in which people can be estranged from one another, from themselves, from society, from their loved ones and even from their own subconscious. After the overture, which introduces musical themes, the album separates into two parts. Every song from the second part is a mirror image of a parallel song in the first. Each pair of songs tells the story of a pair of strangers. They can be played together as a standalone piece, as individual songs or as part of the album, whatever the listener’s heart desires."
"Strangers" was written and composed jointly by singer and band leader Noa Gruman and Orr Didi, who also collaborated with Gruman on "Sands Of Time," and Scardust’s debut EP "Shadow." More...
