Septicflesh And More Added To Rock Band Network

Metal fans looking looking for new songs to try out on the Rock Band Network this weekend can look forward to new tunes from Septicflesh, All Shall Perish, Amberian Dawn, and Halcyon Way. PS3 users also get new music from Asking Alexandria and Tesseract starting on September 6th.

New Metal Songs Added To The Rock Band Network

August Burns Red has been named the Rock Band Network artist of the month with the band's track "Mariana's Trench." The act will also be adding the song "Internal Cannon" to the network shortly (the music video for "Internal Cannon" is also available here).

Eminence Posts New Song Online

Brazilian extreme metal band EMINENCE has posted a new version of the song "The God Of All Mistakes," featuring the band's new vocalist, Bruno Paraguay (DILÚVIO), this location.

Bruno Paraguay joined EMINENCE in January 2009 as the replacement for Wallace Parreiras, who was in the group for five years.

EMINENCE's latest album, "The God of all Mistakes", was released in March 2008 via Locomotive Records. The CD was recorded at Maquina Studios with producer by Tue Madsen (ROB HALFORD, MNEMIC, THE HAUNTED). The mixing sessions took place at the Antfarm studio in Århus, Denmark.

Eminence Enlist New Bassist

Brazilian metallers EMINENCE have enlisted new bassist TC (ex-UDORA) who replaces Rodrigo Nunes.

The band recently recorded their new album at Maquina Studios in Brazil with producer Tue Madsen (KATAKLYSM, RAUNCHY, THE HAUNTED).

Titled The God Of All Mistakes, the album will feature the following tracks: 'Resistance', 'Written In Dust', 'Enemy Inside', 'The God Of All Mistakes', 'Diablo´s Odiado', 'Stainer', 'Injected Lies', 'Undermind', 'Egomaniac', Threatened By A New Plague'.

The album is due out in early 2008 release via an as-yet-undetermined label.

Eminence Part Ways With Ex-Sepultura Guitarist

Brazilian extreme metallers EMINENCE have parted ways with bassist Jairo Guedz (former SEPULTURA guitarist) due to "personal reasons" and "scheduling conflicts." "Jairo has been a fantastic musician [in] the band for six years," the group write in a statement. "We would like to thank
Jairo Guedz for his contribution and wish him well in his future endeavors."

EMINENCE are tentatively scheduled to record their new album at the Ferretti Studio in their hometown of Belo Horizonte. The follow-up to 2004's "Humanology" will be recorded with engineer Stanley Soares (SEPULTURA's "Dante XXI") and will include such cuts as "Enemy Inside" and "Written in Dust". You can check out a demo version of "Enemy Inside" at this location.

EMINENCE's most recent CD, "Humanology", was released via Switzerland's Timeless Productions. The follow-up to 1999's "Chaotic System" was recorded at Sonic Ranch studios in Tornillo, Texas with veteran producer Neil Kernon (NEVERMORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE) and marks the band's first release with new singer Wallace Parreiras (ex-SOULLESS).

Kataklysm To Enter The Studio

Canadian death metallers Kataklysm will enter the studio on July 10 to begin recording their new album, "In the Arms of Devastation," tentatively due before the end of the year.

"The writing of the album is almost complete and things are going very well. Don't expect any fashion core, no 'roman' haircuts or whining," the band write in a newsletter. "Expect a crowbar to the head. Kataklysm enters the compound July 10th, and a monster will rise from it...we promise."

As previously reported, Kataklysm are inviting their fans, artists and friends around the world to design the cover art for their next album. The band encourages everyone that has artistic skill and has an original vision to submit their work by e-mail at smdesign@videotron.ca. The winning artwork will be selected by Kataklysm and the band's representatives at Nuclear Blast Records.
