Changeling (Ex-Obscura/Fear Factory) Premiere Song
Changeling have unveiled their latest single, “Changeling”, now available for streaming. Spearheaded by Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschläger (ex-Obscura), the band boasts a powerhouse lineup featuring Mike Heller (ex-Fear Factory) on drums, Arran McSporran (Vipassi, Virvum) on bass, and Morean (Alkaloid) on vocals.
This track will be featured on their upcoming self-titled debut album, set for release on April 25th via Season of Mist.

Changeling Premiere New Single & Music Video
Progressive death metal outfit Changeling is set to unleash its self-titled debut album on April 25th via Season Of Mist. Spearheaded by Tom “Fountainhead” Geldschläger (ex-Obscura), the band's formidable lineup also includes drummer Mike Heller (ex-Fear Factory), bassist Arran McSporran (Vipassi, Virvum), and vocalist Morean (Alkaloid, etc.).
The first taste of the album arrives with a newly released music video for the lead single, "Abyss," which is now streaming below.

Vipassi Streaming New Album "Lightless"
Vipassi has been carefully unlocking a mystery. The Australian quartet's new album, "Lightless," explores all sorts of twisted phenomena, from the hooded ritual of "Phainesthai," the distorted maze of "Labyrinthine Hex" to the star-gazing mastery on "Morningstar."

The track, a progressive metal journey titled "Elpis," is streaming below. "Sunyata" will be released by Season of Mist worldwide on January 20th, 2017 and the track listing is as follows:

Australia's extreme progressive metal quartet Vipassi - the brainchild of guitarist Ben Boyle and Ne Obliviscaris drummer Dan Presland and also featuring Ne Obliviscaris guitarist Benjamin Baret and bassist Brendan "Cygnus" Brown - is now streaming another track from forthcoming album, "Sunyata."
The track, a progressive metal tour-de-force titled "Jove," is available for streaming below. "Sunyata" will be released by Season of Mist worldwide on January 20th, 2017. Regarding the new track, Vipassi comments:
"Our song 'Jove' is a meditation on religion and dogma, its separation from faith, its affect on our history and perception of morality, and ultimately, the corruption and conflict it begets. Faith at its core, is a beautiful thing, which over time, has been clouded by crooked and misguided credo. This song is a counterpoint to 'Benzaiten', our previous track's themes of knowledge and science, and how these things can be at odds with the obtuse nature of organized religion." More...
Vipassi Posts Drum Playthrough Video
Dan Presland, drummer of Australia's extreme progressive metal quartet Vipassi, has released a new drum playthrough video. The video features a performance of the recently released track "Benzaiten" and is available below.
"Benzaiten" is taken from Vipassi's debut album "Sunyata," due to be released by Season of Mist worldwide on January 20th, 2017. Regarding the song, Vipassi comments:
"Benzaiten is the goddess of everything that flows: water, time, words, speech, eloquence, music and by extension, knowledge. 'Benzaiten' also happens to be the very first track composed by VIPASSI, which kick-started and affirmed our sound as well as the direction of our journey with this project, acting almost as a mission statement; honoring our love for extreme music and melody, capturing the ebb and flow of everything that inspires us to create. So it is fitting it be the first piece released through our new home at Season of Mist."

Vipassi Signs With Season Of Mist
Season of Mist is proud to announce the signing of Australian prog innovators Vipassi. The instrumental prog metal quartet is the brainchild of guitarist Ben Boyle and Ne Oblivscaris drummer Dan Presland, and also features Ne Obliviscaris guitarist Benjamin Baret and bassist Brendan "Cygnus" Brown.
Vipassi previously released debut EP "Sunyata" and has begun work on a first full-length album for Season of Mist. Regarding the signing, the band comments:
